When the scale is set at 1cm to 1m and the object dimensions are 1cm by 1cm, why does it show as 0.64m - surely it should be 1m… simples?! Why isn’t the scale working to scale?

I have a very simple graph diagram that I’d like to export to SVG but Export is greyed out. From what I’ve read, I should be able to Export to everything except Visio. Is there something I need to do to enable Export?

Hi there,I’ve been through Miro’s training lab for migration of Miro boards to Lucid Spark - With some success. However, our organisation has members who have a huge amount of Miro boards of varying sizes, and I’m hoping there is a way to migrate multiple Miro boards at once. I know this is unlikely, but it’s worth an ask! Has anyone discovered a way to mass migrate a large number of Miro boards to Lucid Spark? Is this something that Lucid can support? (Lucid’s support seems to be community driven rather than something you contact Lucid directly for)

Hi, for some reason the images are missing from my chart when I try to export them out from lucidchart. The images are linked to a google URL Link.

I am using a lucidspark dashboard, containing a higher number of sticky notes (> 40). For simplification I would like to use tags which work very well for users having edit rights. I noticed now that users without edit rights do not see these tags. Could you help me investigate this further?

Hello.I’m trying to make a flowchart visual that is interactive. I would like to be the only owner and editor, but to have a couple other users able to add comments, click buttons that could progress the flow chart and for it to save the state of the flowchart. I want to use this as a “current state” of our project/process, that we can all view and stay informed on.Is it possible to accomplish this with LucidChart? What is the best way to go about this?Thank you,

When I review other teammate's LucidChart file I do not want to change it by mistake, so I hope  I can set the chart as readonly, how to do it ?

HI,Is there a way to change the colour of the background that is behind the canvas. The webpage the diagram is being embedded in has a white background, but depending on the zoom, when zooming out, the grey from behind the canvas appears and look messy. Also, is there a way to set the default zoom of a diagram when loading as embedded, or a way to set which page of a process flowcharts the diagram initially loads to as default With thanks Chris

OK so here is the next thing that is driving me crazy with Lucid, I’m trying to edit the title text in the swim lane on a Technology roadmap and can’t. Clicking on the shape doesn’t work, I have the chart open in Lucid chart editor and selecting properties for Grid Container displays a value field and Name field (see picture on the right) both of these appear to be locked and I can’t change the text from In Progress?! Also all the text attributes (bold, underline, colour, spacing etc..) do nothing to this shape. What am I missing here?

Hello am I right that there is no default message flow in Lucidchart available? There is no default shape in the collection and it is not possible to configure a dashed line with a circle at the start and an arrow at the end. What’s the reason for that and how can I draw valid message flows in Lucidchart? Thank you!

How do I add special characters like the ones found in MS Word Wingdings font? And perhaps a chart (like in MS Word) showing the characters themselves?

Quiero exportar a visio pero me dice que el archivo podria dañar mi equipo y aun asi le doy confirmar y no se exporta ¿A que se debe?

Hello,While trying to export a lucid chart with custom shapes we are finding that the shapes and text boxes shift slightly to the left or right.Tried to copy everything to a new sheet and went through troubleshooting steps but bug still persists. This looks fine in export preview but once exported has this bug. Have also tried to export in PNG and getting the same bug. Lucid View Lucid Chart CopyPDF Export PDF CopyKind Regards,Luis

I have spent quite a bit of time creating a flowchart using the chat GPT (paid) plugin. An edit flowchart link has been created, but when I click it I just see an empty “Unititled Diagram”.The URL contains an invitation ID and to me looks like it should work. I have tried another browser. Any ideas? Really don’t want to have to start again….Thanks

is there a way to change the orientation of an org chart? I have a chart with multiple layers that’s extending very far horizontally, how can i get it to look similar to the one below (beneath each direct report)?

Hi all, I’m trialling LucidChart, primarily for UML Class Diagrams and am trying to establish if is supports the following scenario (and sorry if this is a sill question; I’ve really only been using it for 30 mins!): I save a “Shape A” to the Custom Shapes Library I save a “Shape B” to the custom shapes library I create a relationship between Shape A and Shape B and save it to the Custom Shapes Library I select “Shape A” on a new diagram I select “Shape B” on the same diagramMy ‘requirement’ is to see the relationship between Shape A and Shape B automatically filled in on the new diagram. Does LucidChart support that, as very standard functionality? If so, can someone please indicate to me how? I’m not so much in need of a drawing too (Visio can do that :-); I really want something to manage entities (context: I’m of an age where I used to use Rational Rose and I’m pretty sure it supported the above scenario!) Thanks very much in advance :-)

Hello, I’m trying to create a custom library to share shapes across my organization. I want to create, like the likes of AWS library, a custom library with multiple subcategories like they have (their example is sub categories like compute, storage, network).

Hi there,There seems to be an issue with SVG icon imports. I have previously created an icon library for use with Lucid. All icons were sized to 32x32. Today, I was going to update that newly created library but the svgs are importing at a much larger size. Luckily I kept the previous library to compare against. Our export settings have not changed. Please advise.

I’ve selected all lines and made them all the same size, but this one still seems different. Is this intentional, because it doesn’t have any text?

I've now spent hours and hours loading and copying URLs into a google sheet. To hoste the images I've tried Google Drive and then Google Images neither work. I can open the links of images in an incognito browser still it's not pulling them in to my Org Chart.  What would be wonderful is if Lucidchart could share a recommended Image hosting site and specific instructions for that site.  Also what are the troubleshooting steps if it doesn't work?

I create maps through lucid and need control over lines. These maps are an aerial view  of a certain location, and we create contour lines which are not uniform and has a lot of curves. When trying to move a line within Lucid, I noticed that after a while the line would not change after moving it and it would snap back to the original location it was in. Is there any settings I need to change or is this just something the program does.

I have a large gantt chart that I would like to have narrow columns. Is there a way to resize all of the columns at once so they are all the same width?

I used to have a paid account but my company canceled the subscription. I created a document under a paid plan, but now that I am on the free plan, I can only view my document. It says “it’s not one of 3 recent documents”, so it does not let me edit it. I should be able to edit 1 document when I am on a free plan, shouldn’t I?
