Is there the possibility to export a process manual of the flowchart I have created?

Hey there, I’ve used lucid and other chart applications on and off over the years. But I never stopped to learn some best practices. I design and build integrations between enterprise applications mainly but small things too. There are so many flowchart types and I wanted to focus on my area abit to start. I’ve been looking for any medium of learning experience and what types of charts I should start with. From landscape diagrams to the details of my apis.Any assistance is very much appreciated,Thanks,Bob

Bonjour,  La publication d’une zone sélectionné n’est plus proposée :Partager > Publier > Zone sélectionnée au secours !!!

So far, I’ve had to explicitly include my custom shape library in the displayed shapes sidebar for each document I make. Is there a setting so that library is always shown by default?

LucidChart allows for ingestion of XLS/CSV data to create attributes/properties on Lucid objects. This is however a non-dynamic connection. I believe Lucid does to a dynamic data connection to Google docs. However i wish to integrate process diagrams with both structured data in a SmartSheet spreadsheet but also with a SmartSheet project for a 3 way connection. I can link SmartSheet spreadsheet rows to a Project but also need to drive LucidChart object/shape properties. Please advise. Thank you

Hi I also use Lucidchart to make electrical diagrams. I would like the ability to flip a symbol vertically and horizontally.  Is this possible? Question 2. Is it possible to modify text rather than deleting it and retyping? Thanks   Ian

Is there a way to disable markdown formatting? It’s making it fully impossible to complete this erd task. Every time I surround a word with underscores, it goes italics and the underscores disappear. So store_location_id renders as storelocationid. Other apps with this behavior, ctrl-z removes the autoformat, leaving the desired “store_location_id”. Slightly annoying but workable. In Lucidchart, ctrl-z removes the entire character as well as the formatting. So: store_location » type “>” » storelocation » ctrl-z » store_location. There’s no way out of the loop, to actually enter my column name to my erd.

Our company has been struggling with a few things in Lucid. Firstly, we want to be able to save our documents to Box. Box is a content cloud where you can save all types of files. When you open them in Box, it automatically opens in the platform the document is being used in ex: Excel, adobe illustrator etc… Every time you edit the document it automatically saves your changes to the file in Box as well. We want to do this with Lucid chart documents so that we don’t get our Lucid chart documents page filled with hundreds of clients sales process maps that we are creating. Instead, we could delete them in Lucid, but save them in Box and be able to edit them at any time.Is this possible? I understand that we can attach Box embedded links in a lucid document but that is not what we are wanting to do. Also- we are trying to find a professional in Lucid charts that can create a new template using features that are used in other templates. We have tried using using people that we found on Fiv

Hello All,I am trying out Lucid Chart for work and really love it!! (Although I'm currently using Canva) so my project requires a combination of English and Thai languages but the problem is that when I input some Thai characters with double syllables on top, it did not come through. It seems like the textboxes are not designed specifically for the Thai language. I have attached an example below for Lucid Chart and Canva. EXAMPLE: Canva     Lucid Chart   The error in red rectangle Please help! I really want Lucid Chart to work for my project. Thank you, James

Hi, I met strange issue that Garbled characters appear  when open Lucid and click new doc/exist doc todayIt is normal before.Symptoms still happen even if rebooting computer Please help to check the causeGarbled characters appear  .

I'd like some orgchart hierarchies to be vertical and some to be horizontal.  For example in the image below ASSARAF PLAKS and GLISIC are all direct reports of ARZY but only ASSARAF is a manager the others are direct reports of ARZY.  That said it takes up for too much space to lay out all direct reports horizontally and I need them to be reflected vertically in two groups (with ARZY as manager - as I've noted with red pen).  How can this be done?

I want to create a semi-circle look for a line. I have successfully done that with 2 instances of curvy lines in my chart. But for some reason, connecting these two points, I can’t figure out how to do it. Instead, I get this wonky line (see attached). The arrows should point up (upper left) and right (bottom right) but I have this really weird shaped line here. It’s so frustrating! I don’t know if I’m describing this clearly. But I want the curve to be more smooth and circle like (same concave direction) but with the arrows flipped if that makes sense. I could copy/paste my successfully created curvy lines, but I can’t figure out how to rotate or flip/mirror them. Help - ?

Hello Team,  Are there 3rd party tools to manage business rules associated to business processes or way to do this in Lucid?

In the process of creating a new folder I am always prompted to add people/groups and I must explicitly clear it since it is modal to the window. Is there any way to turn this off (since I am not currently collaborating on the charts I am making)?

Hello! My math department has recently started using Lucid. We’re trying to organize work for students, but are finding that both the breakout boards interface AND the table of contents don’t stay sorted according to our layout. For example, I sorted this table of contents to follow the flow of a lesson: But others (students) see something different, and when I refresh, it gets jumbled up. Here, I notice that all the frames are on top and all the breakout boards are on the bottom, but within those, it doesn’t seem to have any order. I even tried renaming things hoping it was sorting alphabetically, and it doesn’t seem to be.This will be a major hang-up for us if we can’t create organization - one of the things that attracted us to Lucid was the breakout boards, but we don’t seem to be able to keep them organized. Are we missing something? Thanks!

How do you save a Lucid Chat you have worked on?

I have been trying to use a Lucidchart chart embedded in Archbee and the following error is occurring: "Our servers experienced an error. We apologize for the inconvenience."Anyone?

Hello! I started working on a new chart this morning, and it worked fine until I closed and re-opened the document -- and now the text is mangled.  I tried disabling WebGL: I tried changing the font and back again: I’m using Firefox 120.0.1 (64-bit) in Debian 12 -- and to be clear, this document was working perfectly this morning. This is a “stopped working” situation rather than a “never worked” situation. Other websites in the same browser are working, too.
