Subscribe to stay up to date with these releases and share your feedback with our team in the Product Feedback community space. New agentic AI Workflow shape library With agentic workflow shapes, such as LLM and cloud application shapes, you can easily design detailed diagrams for your agentic workflows. Try it now. Line text wrapping A new line of text automatically wraps to fit the allotted space, making text easier to read when space is limited. Learn more. Custom thumbnails Customize the thumbnail image of a document by either selecting a section of the board or uploading a custom image. Learn more. Inactive cursors hidden when following Inactive cursors of collaborators who are following someone are now hidden. Learn more. Offscreen object guides hidden Alignment guides only appear for objects on the screen. Learn more. Drag text around a shape Customize the location of the text for some of our technical shape libraries, such as NVIDIA, AWS, and GCP. You can now drag the text to different sides of the shape. Learn more. AI-generated swimlanes Lucid AI now supports the creation of swimlanes. Learn more. MCP server enhancements Within the MCP server, you can now create share links that can be configured to allow anyone, or anyone on your account, to view/edit a document. In addition, users will be able to share documents with collaborators to add a user on your account to a document, using their email address.

You can change a team member's role to manager, edit and share, edit, comment, or view, but each team must have at least one manager.  Learn more. Access the Enterprise Shield centerThe Enterprise Shield center is an admin's one-stop hub for exploring all available Enterprise Shield features. It also highlights how teams can prevent data exfiltration with centralized controls, ensure compliance with enterprise-grade policies, control and audit document access across the org, review analytics and insights about content inspection, and manage legal holds from a single interface. Learn more. Control the Process Accelerator manager permissionsAdmins can utilize the “Add-ons” tab to manage accelerator managers, which now include the process manager. Learn more. Additional user fields plus the ability to edit single users and bulk edit via CSV uploadAdmins can view additional user profile enrichment fields, including title, manager, department, division, cost center, organization, and phone number. You can also export these new fields, so information like “cost center” will be available for use cases such as internal bill-back. Learn more.  Usage data now includes Organizational GroupsThis enhancement directly supports license management by providing visibility into which users on an Org Group are actively utilizing their licenses and which are not. This allows for more precise allocation and management of licenses across your organization.

Learn more.  Organizational chart detection If you’re building an org chart manually, after five shapes have been added with names and titles, Lucid will detect that activity and prompt you to switch to our org chart shape, offering more specific features and views to assist you in developing your diagram. Learn more. ERD enhancements Skip adding data tables to your Lucidchart document one by one. Instead, automatically create an entity-relationship diagram by dragging and dropping your entire imported database onto the canvas to generate an organized ERD with all tables and relationships. You’ll see a facelift for pages, while features like layers and selected objects have moved to the left side of the footer. Learn more.Database import and export for ERDLucid has expanded ERD support to include Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Azure SQL Database, and Google BigQuery. Learn more. Process ownerThis role describes a user who created a process within a repository or was assigned ownership of a process. They are responsible for publishing the process to the repository once it's been approved and maintaining changes to the process. Learn more. RepositoriesRepositories create a single source of truth for all official company documentation at an organization. Process managers can create as many repositories as their organization needs, assign a repository owner for each, and import content from Lucid or other tools. Learn more. Repository foldersUsers now have the ability to organize repository content into folders. Learn more. Approval flowsIn order for new documentation to be added to the repository or existing documentation to be updated, repository owners must review and approve the documentation prior to it being published in the repository. Learn more. Asset libraryReuse a published document as an asset within other documents to expedite process creation and maintenance. Updates to an asset are reflected everywhere it is used. Learn more.  Embed integrationsEmbed repository documents in applications like Jira Cloud, SharePoint, Google, and Microsoft. Learn more.  Document detailsView document details such as date published, process owner, version number, approvers, and asset references. Learn more. Slack and Microsoft Teams integrationsIntegrations with Slack and Microsoft Teams send notifications to requesters and approvers in the approval workflow and to assigned process managers and repository owners. These capabilities improve communication, ensure the right data is prioritized, and accelerate decision-making to boost project velocity. Bookmark this page to stay up to date with Cloud Accelerator updates and releases! Lucid announced on April 3, 2025 that Lucidscale will transition to be a part of the Cloud Accelerator. Current Lucidscale customers will be transitioned to the Cloud Accelerator over time. See here for more information. Enhancements to model interactivity Interacting with automatic visualizations is now more intuitive and consistent across Lucidchart, Lucidspark, and Lucidscale.  No more restrictions on editing shapes You no longer have to double-click to enter or exit a special editing mode in Lucidchart and Lucidspark after switching products. Shapes outside the model can also be selected and manipulated directly within Lucidscale. UI enhancements A dotted border now appears on hover/selection, making the relationship between the generator and other shapes clearer. Outside shapes are no longer translucent when the model is selected.

Share feedback with our team in the community Product Feedback space. Ability to exclude multiple groups for group sync with SCIM for organizational groupsTo support unique membership in organizational groups, admins can exclude specific identity provider (IdP) groups via SCIM sync. Excluded groups won't be created in Lucid or assigned to users, though users will still be provisioned and added to other valid groups. This is helpful when users belong to broad groups like "all company users" but should only be assigned to a specific licensing group (e.g., IT) in Lucid. Learn more for Okta and Entra ID.Control Accelerator manager permissions through the admin panelAdmins can utilize the “Add-ons” tab to manage Accelerator managers (i.e., Agile managers, Cloud managers, etc.). Learn more.Self-serve SCIM for organizational groupsAccounts no longer have to contact support to request that SCIM be enabled for their account. Admins can now enable SCIM for org groups from their admin panel. Learn more for Okta and Entra ID.Mark documents for permanent deletionMark documents for permanent deletion: Admins can mark documents for permanent deletion—removing the burden of manual security enforcement while ensuring policies are applied consistently and efficiently across documents while strengthening document protection. Learn more.
