This makes it easier to clean up your board instantly without losing the original flow or context of your work. Learn more. New VPATs availableUpdated VPATs for Lucidchart and Lucidspark include improvements that make keyboard navigation easier to access via the footer and quick actions on the canvas. And if you’d like to see (and influence) the airfocus roadmap, check out the airfocus Portal. Custom item links typesDefine your own link types in team settings to map relationships between items the way your team thinks about them—beyond the defaults like Blocks, Duplicates, and Relates to.This is especially helpful for users who have custom link types in their Jira instance—they can now create those same link types on the airfocus side rather than mapping to the default three link types. To learn more about creating custom item links, visit our Help Center article.  Jira Fix Version and Milestone SyncingMap the airfocus Milestone field to Jira Fix Versions. We’ve introduced two new mapping options to support different workflows:Fix Version (most recent) ➡ Milestone (single select): A one-way mapping that ensures you don’t overwrite external data with incomplete information Fix Version ↔ Milestone (multi-select): A full two-way mapping for bidirectional synchronizationThis update supports auto-mapping, manual mapping, and the ability to auto-create field options in airfocus (auto-create is not supported in Jira). To learn more about these updates to the Jira integration, visit our Help Center article.  Edit Lucid documents directly in airfocusEdit Lucid documents directly in airfocus. Simply click the Select from Lucid option when embedding a Lucid view, and you will be able to select an existing document or create a new one. When prompted, give the document edit permissions, add it as a view, and you will be taken to an embedded Lucid editor experience. Learn more. Generate board (Lucid Suite) Ask Lucid AI to draft a board that has Frames, sticky notes, and text titles. Learn more.  Lucid AI in Lucidspark You can now access the Lucid AI conversational interface within Lucidspark! Learn more. Collapse and expand Quickly focus on the bigger picture as you collapse and expand your diagrams in Lucid. Similar to minimizing a window on your desktop, the work doesn't go away; it’s just neatly tucked into a single container so you can zoom out or zoom in on necessary details. This feature is compatible with basic container types like Frames, rectangle, rounded rectangle, pill, circle and spark containers, as well as containers with assisted layout. Learn more in this help center article and this community post.   Nudging Enable nudging in your document or board settings to prevent object overlap when you manually expand a container with assisted layout applied. Learn more.  Assisted layout enhancements Effortlessly organize content using assisted layout. You can span an object, Frame, Container, or swimlane over multiple cells in an assisted layout grid or hold Cmd/Cntrl to activate spacing handles on any currently nested Containers to have them span. You can also pull grouped objects into assisted layouts. Learn more.

Additionally, you can now map start date and target date to a date range field in airfocus. This unlocks Timeline and Gantt views for users without the manual effort previously required. No more scrolling or guessing—if you know the key, just type it.

Folder owners can approve documents within their folder, archive, delete, or rename folders and documents within their ownership, and add other folder and sub-folder owners. Learn more.  Direct publishRepository and process owners will be able to directly publish edits to documents they own, streamlining repository setup and approvals. Instead of typing your prompt, click the microphone icon, and it will transcribe your voice into the prompt section. Try it now. Line text wrapping A new line of text automatically wraps to fit the allotted space, making text easier to read when space is limited. Learn more. Custom thumbnails Customize the thumbnail image of a document by either selecting a section of the board or uploading a custom image. Learn more. Inactive cursors hidden when following Inactive cursors of collaborators who are following someone are now hidden. Learn more. Offscreen object guides hidden Alignment guides only appear for objects on the screen. Learn more. Drag text around a shape Customize the location of the text for some of our technical shape libraries, such as NVIDIA, AWS, and GCP. You can now drag the text to different sides of the shape. Learn more. AI-generated swimlanes Lucid AI now supports the creation of swimlanes. Learn more. MCP server enhancements Within the MCP server, you can now create share links that can be configured to allow anyone, or anyone on your account, to view/edit a document. In addition, users will be able to share documents with collaborators to add a user on your account to a document, using their email address.

You can change a team member's role to manager, edit and share, edit, comment, or view, but each team must have at least one manager.  Learn more. Access the Enterprise Shield centerThe Enterprise Shield center is an admin's one-stop hub for exploring all available Enterprise Shield features. It also highlights how teams can prevent data exfiltration with centralized controls, ensure compliance with enterprise-grade policies, control and audit document access across the org, review analytics and insights about content inspection, and manage legal holds from a single interface. Learn more. Control the Process Accelerator manager permissionsAdmins can utilize the “Add-ons” tab to manage accelerator managers, which now include the process manager. Learn more. Additional user fields plus the ability to edit single users and bulk edit via CSV uploadAdmins can view additional user profile enrichment fields, including title, manager, department, division, cost center, organization, and phone number. You can also export these new fields, so information like “cost center” will be available for use cases such as internal bill-back. Learn more.  Usage data now includes Organizational GroupsThis enhancement directly supports license management by providing visibility into which users on an Org Group are actively utilizing their licenses and which are not. Learn more.  Organizational chart detection If you’re building an org chart manually, after five shapes have been added with names and titles, Lucid will detect that activity and prompt you to switch to our org chart shape, offering more specific features and views to assist you in developing your diagram. Instead, automatically create an entity-relationship diagram by dragging and dropping your entire imported database onto the canvas to generate an organized ERD with all tables and relationships.
