I don’t want to see this option, how do I disable or remove it?  

I have a data source from an excel sheet, it includes a column for web address to the object that I'm tying this data to. In the shape, I can see the weblink in the data panel and its blue like a hyperlink. But, I am unable to click it. I'm using the data source as the ground truth table in case we need to replace an item and the address or data point changes like a serial number. so far I am still unable to assign the ‘web address’ field in my data source to the shapes link in any meaningful way outside of doing it manually using a url, page, or document. I've even looked into formulas in the text field below the shape, but cant find a way to make it clickable.Any solution to this? feedback is welcome!Thanks!

I’m using Lucidchart to create sitemaps for a website, and many of the flowchart boxes include URL hyperlinks. For presentation purposes, I need to export these diagrams into PowerPoint. However, when I export to PPT, the boxes that contain URL hyperlinks disappear entirely. When I export to PDF, everything appears correctly.Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have been searching Lucid and google and Excel articles for a org chart Excel file I can build for my department hat includes all of the data fields that will upload to Lucidchart. Can someone share that template with me? Thanks!

When exporting to Visio all connectors and shapes are either missing or jacked up. Help!

A document that is not a template, a document that I own is locked by the template owner and I can't change it.I did experiment for a while with it being a template but reverted back so I could discuss with colleagues before making that change.How can I unlock this object… oddly there are many and this is the only one I know of that’s magically locked. I have no reason to do that on purpose, the opposite is true that I need layers and objects not locked so people can use the template as I’ve designed it to be used.

I have large diagram that I am showing in the LucidChart Confluence Macro. The diagram shows up great with one exception. I have link text in the diagram. When you click on the link text in the diagram, the actual link pops up in a small modal generally in a corner of the main diagram. This is not ideal, in that it is not always obvious as I’m looking at the link text, not at the corner, but it sort of works. The problem is that if I’m zoomed into the diagram and click the link text, the link modal does not show up at all (it seems like it pops up outside of the visible frame). This makes the link appear to just not work. I noticed that if I click on the link text and then zoom out, then I’ll see it in the corner of the diagram, but I don’t know how a user would ever know that they need to do that. Isn’t there a way to have the link modal pop up over or directly next to the link text that you clicked?

Any time I type the word cloud in text, a little cloud icon replaces the word. How can I disable that in Lucidchart?

Lucidchart keeps crashing with a memory error when I try to import an existing diagram to a new document. I have tried MS Edge Chrome (including incognito) and Firefox. All the WebGL indicators are ok and I've also tried three different networks the fastest of which currently providing 170Mbps download/25Mbs upload. I am not connected to a VPN. The issue seems to be that the memory use runs away as soon as I hit 'Import Page' from the Insert drop-down in any existing file. I have done this with Task Manager open on my other screen and the memory use-age immediately starts to rise until it reaches between 95 and 98%. (Chrome and Edge both fail before this point - Firefox stays open at 95%+ but is unresponsive). It also doesn't matter which folder/file I try to select for insertion.  Is there some kind of bizarre memory hogging process being triggered by 'Import Page'?

I frequently need to copy my diagrams to the clipboard and paste them into a document. The steps I take now are: Go to File > Export > PNG Use a screenshot tool to copy from the preview Is there some simpler way? I feel I should be able to do this without relying on the screenshot tool.

I am very new to this but...I got my .csv file to import into LucidChart. I can see all of the tables. I clicked on the tables one at a time and no relationships were drawn. Now I don’t know what to do.I looked at the .csv file and the PKs and FKs are indicated for each table in the file. How do I create the ERD and have the relationships show up?

Hi I lost some of the important items that I have been working from my Lucidchart documents, the document is there but one of the blocks disappeared from all the documents wherever it was used, and these are different documents.anyone having such issues and appreciate if anyone can help on this? Thank you

Conditional formatting is working well for us thus far on a JIRA card’s status (planning, execution, etc.). However, I am now trying to set conditional formatting on a card’s condition (On Track, At Risk, etc.). For status, here is our formula and it works without issue. Here is the same thing for condition and it is not working even though condition is a field the same exact as status. Card details as seen here showing Status and Condition are both pulled in attributes.

i wish to create a table (or smart table) that would be driven by metadata from all the tabs/diagrams in a LucidChart document. I have used some “smart text” such as “page name” to populate the document name in a title block, illustrated below: However i will to create a title page with the page number, page name, etc. as illustrated below.is there a formula, etc. to build this from page metadata for each subsequent page?Thanks 

I am having a similar issue. I can select a column of employee boxes and go to Arrange > Match size > Width and Height but it does not fix an odd spacing between one at the top and the other below in a hierarchy. 

Hey everyone — I built my org chart using the Org Chart template, and I’m running into some annoying limitations. I’m trying to split one manager’s reports into two clear teams (like “Team 1” and “Team 2”), but Lucid won’t let me do what I need:• I want to move tiles around freely without them snapping back or auto-aligning under the tile above.• I want to group team members together so I can treat them as a unit, or put a visual container around them — but the “Group” option is greyed out.• There’s no option to “Convert to Standard Shapes” or “Detach from Org Chart” in the right-click menu or side panel, so I can’t break out of Org Chart mode.• “Revert Override” didn’t do anything either. I’m basically just trying to break one manager’s hierarchy into multiple visual teams without Lucid constantly trying to force it back into

Hello,I am experiencing an issue with exporting/downloading a document that I was previously able to download without any problems.When I try to export the document now, I receive the following message:“Due to the size of this document, it may take some time to generate your file. Please keep this document open until your download is complete.”However, even after keeping the document open for a long time, the download never starts and no file is generated.Important details: This same document (or similar-sized documents) was downloadable before. The issue occurs consistently now. I have tried waiting, refreshing, and retrying, but the result is the same. The document is large, but this was not an issue in the past. Could you please check if there is: A recent change or limitation related to document size or export processing? A know

I’m trying to drag arrows between shapes in my Lucid Board and they are not “sticking”. I will drag it from one box to another, and it will show, but once I click off of it, the arrow disappears. Does anyone know how to resolve this? None of my other Lucid Boards have run into this issue.

I want to create a diagram where the circle is made from arrows that point to the next subject. Something like this picture. 

Hi , I have created a mind map, the expand and collapse has been working fine and now sudden stopped, i can select the plus or minus symbols, they just dont appear.

I am trying to move lines in a sequence diagrams up and down.  not able to do it, i need to update the connect on both ends, how can I select one or more lines and quickly move them up and down?  shift, ctrl, etc plus click and drag does not work.    

When I add a number icon from the Shapes library to a diagram, it cannot be moved. Nor can I option-drag it to make a cloned copy. I can select and delete them, but cannot move them. This behavior only seems to affect the Number Icons. I am NOT using any form of conditional formatting. I have not locked the icons. I am not using Layers. This behavior is recent; up until today, these icons behaved like other shapes. I am able to move and clone other icons and shapes. But not the Number Icons. I’ve even tried closing and reopening the Lucidchart document to see if there was a memory glitch. But so far, nothing seems to work. How can I move a Number Icon? 

There is an autolayout behavior that seems to aggressively resize my boxes and blocks as follows.How do I turn this off everywhere and not have to lock size (and unfortunately position) on every single block I add?   This behavior and the known work-around makes it pretty impossible to effectively use the software to make a specific layout -- which is the point of a drawing program. Replicate:I create a box or blockI explicitly size it and place it somewhere in my diagram.I start typing text in the box.At some point Lucid simply resizes the box.  This may be make it shorter, taller, or shrinking or expanding both dimensionsI have not asked it to resize the box, and now Lucid has messed up my diagram and I have to rearrange things. When this repeats on literally every block in the diagram, my work productivity goes to zero and then actually becomes negative.  

I can see in preview that my chart in Blank Board. But when I open it, it’s blank and my data seems to be gone. How can I recover it ? 

I’m trying to make network diagrams.  The ethernet symbol doesn’t let you make it longer.  Only larger while maintaining aspect ratio.  This is maddening.  Is there a workaround or fix?  I either need a tiny little ethernet symbol or a giant one that’s longer.Thanks!
