Formulas + Lucidcard

Hi,

I’m preparing a facilitation focused on identifying opportunities to reduce the overall duration of a process. We’ve mapped the activities and have start/end dates or durations for most of them.

I took the activities from our process map, converted them into Lucid Cards, and placed them on a timeline so the team can visually review the sequence and timing. During the session, we’ll validate the duration of each activity and adjust the timeline as we identify opportunities for efficiency.

Is there a way in Lucid to make the duration dynamic on each card? For example:

• Calculate the number of days between a Start Date and End Date and display that duration on the card.
• Automatically update the duration if we move or resize an activity on the timeline.
• Total the durations of selected activities so we can show something like, “This portion of the process currently takes 45 days,” and then see how that total changes as we identify efficiencies.

If formulas aren’t available for this, is there another way you would recommend visualizing this within Lucid?

The activities are not connected to Jira, Azure DevOps, or another system that I can integrate with, and AI features are not enabled in our environment.
