Line Size Limits

Why are the line sizes in Lucid Chart limited from 1-10? Would be nice to have a more flexible functionality, either without limit or at least up to 100.

import to ppt

Hi! I struggle with import of a diagram to ppt. I can save the file as a pdf or an image and then insert it. If I follow several tutorials I found on Youtube, I click on "add-in" in ppt, I can select Lucid Software; I click on my document, and then just the work-page of lucid chart opens in ppt, but I can not get only the diagram to ppt. But I would like to build it up with an animation, so that I show the diagram only step by step to the audience. Any help would be hiiiighly appreciated

Can't get rid of shape outline on new/pasted objects

I set the “Default shape” of my org chart to a 4px blue line, rounded corners. Now every shape I make, including a text box, or things pasted from another tab, have the blue line around them. If I click on an object, it shows up as having no border though. How can I get it back to normal?

Lucidchart BUG in line alignment/snapping

Did anyone notice weird behavior with line alignment lately?Been using Lucidchart for about 8 years, but it seems like I can’t align some lines as easy as I’m used to. Some line are acting fine, some aren’t.Tried the followings already:delete a recreate line copy whole document, but same behavior on the duplicate Noticed the same behavior on older documents I haven’t touched for months Played with snapping options in Document Settings as wellThis thing literally stops me from delivering projects..

Can not create a team folder on a Team account - how to share folders on a Team account

Hello,  I change from personal licence to Team Licence on Lucid chart, but I am the owner of the team and cannot crear or move some document to the team folder (even i cannot crear a folder inside)  The option is on gray, some one know to make that available ?    Best Regards

I have an org chart diagram where every “box” has a logo and I would like to understand how many of each logo is in my diagram. And Id like it to change dynamically. Can Page Insights be used for this? If so, how?

Change columns used for imported Excel org chart

I have an org chart I’ve spent a bit of time formatting. I want to create another version of it with different reporting lines, so I duplicated my manager ID column in Excel and changed what I needed to. My original plan was to just duplicate the existing page, relink the data but change the manager ID to the new column. Updating the data doesn’t give me that option though, and importing it from scratch doesn’t keep any of the manual formatting I’ve done. Is there a way to change the column it uses when it refreshes data?

Inherited from org chart section missing

I’m working on an org chart and couldn’t work out why I couldn’t do conditional formatting based on the “Tier” or show the number of direct reports: the options aren’t there. I looked at an old chart and in the data panel there is a section called “Inherited from org chart” which the current one doesn’t have. Lucidchart file won't open -- "Our servers experienced an error"

My LucidChart file won’t open. It’s a shared file, linked to a data set. I’ve tried opening it on another browser, or having a collaborator (with editor rights) open it, but we keep getting the following error message:  Anybody can help?

Click through workflow/flowchart using if questions

Hii!👋🏻 I am a new user to Lucidchart and I’m hoping that this is just me being dumb and not looking in the right place. I have created a workflow based around a bunch of “if” questions. So if value = A move on to step 2. If value = B move on to step 3. The flow itself is quite large and could be overwhelming and inefficient if shared in it’s entirety thus resulting in a tool that is not used. I am looking for a way to create an interactive flow chart so it only shows the viewer the question and follow up steps depending on the option they selected rather than the whole flowchart. Ideally one they can click through. For context it’s being used to introduce a new process that will streamline our triaging process so they have a lot of data they need to weed through very quickly and each bit of information can lead to a different action.

Bug: Why are my templates displayed in another language?

When I’m going to start a new template some of the are in, what I believe to be dutch.I can’t figure out why, as both my settings are in in English and my browser are in english.  Anyone seen this before?

Extract whole pdf function for use by a collaborator?

I am using lucid to chart a chain of title for a family. I have researched through courthouses  varius deeds and the like that I would like to integrate into the chart and have attached to a shape in which I have already have defined the document's ffects in a more concise manner. ie Deed conveys x out y acres leaving z as community property between persons A and B. I also usually place recording information in the basic shape for where I found the doc.What I would like to do is place a PDF copy inside the chart that could be opened up by clicking on the thumbnail. I found a post that mentioned being able to extract single pages, but I am looking for something akin to attaching a document into a access database because I am trying to leverage lucid to show relationships and provide direct access to the documents in question without complex multilayered file systems that depend on links to docs on my local PC that a remote user/ collaborator would not have. If there is a better way to a

Image name as property with csv output

My goal is to create custom shapes for a storyboard that will export to a csv file for further manipulation. I have not found out-of -the-box shapes that will export image data, so I’m trying to create a custom shape that will.I also need the images to be visible in shapes within lucidchart ,and easily input from files not urls.My attempts with the following code have failed to show images in a shape at instantiation and with data input.Is it possible to reach my goal? pdf, crop, storage

the extract images from multiple page pdfs are not working.  It worked before and now are not.  This is one of the main reasons im using this system, other wise im looking for other programs.   also you guys messed with the cropping of images, where now it resizes the image and moves the image on the page, so any alignments have to be redone so many more times.  again waisting my time. need to increase the space for storage, even the higher paid is the same storage size.  need better storage soluctions, or haveing the images stored on google drive and the project reference them, but again if im off line that does not work.

Status values missing from Lucidspark cards

I have a lucid board where I use Card Details.  For an unknown reason, the values for the status field are now missing preventing me to assign status to tasks or move them on various timelines and kanban boards.  How can I add the values for status back?  Attached is a screen shot.

Clean Embed

Hi, is it possible to use the embed function in Lucidcharts to embed my diagramm into a webpage, without having the icons with links above? For example no one should have the option to click on the lucid-icon in the top left to edit the document or to make it fullscreen. I dont find the option to remove these extras.Thank you.
