How can I add row to en ERD entity shape using the android application (free account)?

So I have an enormous flowchart. A → B → C → D → E → F → G → H → I → J → K → L → M → N But in theory B → C → D → E → F → G → H could be abstracted into just B → H -- and thus I’d like to be able show a “zoomed out” view (for lack of a better term)A → B → H → I → J → K → L → M → N ...with the ability to “zoom into” the abstracted B → H so that I can indeed see its detail. How does one do abstraction like that?

I would like to import these diagrams into Visio however its not a smooth transition and I was hoping to get some help. Currently when i do the export it has 9 different white squares behind the actual diagram. The yellow is there to block out the sensitive info of my customer.

I want to provide staff at our company with the purest and simplest user experience when walking through a Lucid Diagram.  In particular I want to use a Swimlane diagram as a tool to navigate into different systems and different parts of systems.  I have a diagram with hyperlinks to the right places - this works - and to instructional videos - also work.  The new Presentation mode provides this. However I have 2 problems; 1). I cannot 'share' a lucidchart in presentation mode 2). When presentation mode is used any hyperlink clicks cancel presentation mode.  If the user restarts it they are taken part to the first slide.  Exporting to Google is not a solution as the hyperlinks are lost and the animation that lucid provides is gone.  I want the users to only use the Presentation 'Play' Mode.

There’s a related topic here that’s asking about the same thing, but it’s several years old and I’d love to know if there is a simple workaround or if this enhancement was made and I just can’t figure out how to do it.The ask is essentially to be able to allow multiple team members to manage, add to, and edit shapes in a single shape library. Right now, when we have an object to add to the library, the only way to do so is to reach out to the owner of the library, share the document which contains the shape, and wait for them to add it to the library. This is cumbersome.Any fixes?Related thread:

Hi I have "shared" a custom shape library I created (by toggling "Share" on) with my team. In various documents I've seen the toggle button with "Team Share" next to it - which is not available to me. We have a team and a number of groups under that. Ideally I would like my team members to help collaborate with the shape library so we can all add to it and edit items within it. Ideally it would be shared with just the group but allowing the whole team this access is acceptable. Is this currently possible? Regards

I have associates in other states where records need to freely exchange between them & I.  The whole point of producing work i.e. (make charts & diagrams) is to share that information.

Is it possible to export only one frame from lucidchart to visio? I am attempting to do this and it’s grabbing all 15 pages.  steps taken: highlighted section, right clicked the section, clicked ‘export selection’, visio not an option highlighted section, clicked ‘file’ on the options panel, export, clicked visio. This gave me a downloaded browser version of visio that i am unable to edit (which is probably a license issue) but it includes the entire board and not just the selection

Did a search on the forum for this but looks like last post was 2017.  Not seeing the Page Setting on the the current GUI.

Hello, we’re facing permission issue after lucid chart migration from Confluence DC ( 7.19.6 ) to Confluence Cloud. On on-prem instance we’re using same lucid chart user as in cloud: On confluence server we have a lot lucid charts which are attached from private resources. They are displayed correctly:  On same page in cloud we’re facing restriction to see those diagrams: Most of our diagrams are created by external customers so as i said, diagrams are not part of our lucidchart team. We need to move all diagrams as a crucial part of our pages. To do that i’ve tried to run force conversion but got this for almost all pages: This is our second test migration, im pretty sure that in first one ( around 2m ago ) i was able to do force conversion for all diagrams. Im stuck on this, there is any option to move those diagrams without manual intervetion from each owner ( 465 diagrams so will be hard to please each owner to put diagrams in new place )?

Hey Lucid users -- if you are experiencing issues with the ChatGPT Plugin there are a few things you can check: When working with the Lucid ChatGPT Plugin is that it is only available to premium GPT-4 users. Could you try generating a new diagram in a different browser as well as in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility.  If those steps don’t resolve the problem give us a heads up with the following information: A screenshot of the issue. A screenshot of what you see in the dropdown when you click "Used Lucid" after having generated your diagram. The URL that the "Edit the flowchart" link points to. A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Ja

Can you please add functionality to provide dual reporting options and dotted line reports? This is essential for the creation of organisation charts

Hello! I’m new to this app and I need help creating a very simple chart from a set of data. I have imported a google sheet document with data from my employees. The organizational chart works great. What I need to do is a simple “trombinoscope”, that is, a simple chart with names, faces and emails using the data I imported. I see that lucid offers a “trombinoscope” template (attached image), but I don’t understand how I can fill that template with the information I have imported. Is that possible using the “team” or individual suscription? Is it possible at all?Can someone help me with this? I’d be very grateful!  thank you,Juan

I’m really liking the Lucidspark Timeline.Love the agility of being able to drop cards in there and moving them around. Also being able to select date ranges, and adding milestone. And before putting in an Idea or feature request I want to make sure i’m not missing how to do certain things that I’m having trouble with.Is there no dynamic resizing of LucidSpark timelines? I can currently drag/resize horizontally….but not vertically or diagonally. Ideal is a dynamic scale resizing when you drag a corner diagonally. Also - are we not able to edit the size of the Fonts for either the Timeline Dates or entered Milestones?I know for Milestones I can change Font color and Bold/Unbold….I wish I could size the fonts.I really like including Timelines however end up fighting scaling/sizing issues due to the size of the rest of the shapes i have built out (which are resizable) but Timelines appear to be locked in size.

I’m looking to ‘secure’ a link for a selected group of people, is this possible? Things I’ve tried -Had a link expire after a specified time. Did this not work link was still accessible after it expired Users are still able to copy and share the ‘url’ of the board Gave users ‘edit only’ access Users are still able to copy and share the ‘url’ of the board

I am a newb but like the functionality of Smart Containers for auto formatting of some structured information I am capturing. The challenge I have is that I cannot change any of the formatting in terms of the size of each of the objects in the container. I.E. I would like 4 boxes arranged in two columns and rows (have that sorted) but want to make the entire container and contents scale larger (can't find a way to do that). There are some other idiosyncrasies but solving this would be huge for me. The main functionality I want is for the elements to automatically line up and the ability to click the add button to add new elements (variety of reasons I want the add button and not just hit enter to add a new line) If there is a way outside of smart containers to accomplish this I am all ears.

I am creating an organizational chart - a hierarchy of our staff.  When I select someone to move them to a new layer (I select them, right click, select add layer) it moves EVERYONE to the new layer, not just the person/persons I select.  What am I doing wrong? I also tried to create a new layer and then move the people after the fact and this also doesn't work...

How is possible add a icon total employees ?

Is there a way to reuse elements from a diagram (specifically a class in UML) across multiple diagrams so that when one is updated it updates across all diagrams?

When I copy a frame from one Lucidchart to another one the frame's content doesn't appear on the second Lucid Chart

Hi a) can an ERD originating in Lucid generate the equivalent SQL to create tables indexes queries (ie: joins relationships) etc.? b) is there a way to connect to a DB via ODBC/JDBC to reverse-engineering a schema into a Lucid ERD Thanks

Every time I try to add a comment to an existing Lucidchart, i get a popup message “Login Required.  You’re now logged out (probably due to inactivity or logging out of another tab).  Log back in to save your changes.”Logging back in does not help.  This used to work fine. This behavior started last week.  As soon as I add a comment, i get the error.Happens in both Chrome & Edge & Firefox.  When testing, I made sure i was not logged in on either of the other browsers.  I also tried incognito.  Same problem.  If it matters,  I only have a free account.

I am trying to put Jira cards on Timeline. I can't reduce Jira card's size or increase timeline's y axis to fit those in. Can someone help?

For LucidChart is there a way to link the same CSV file across multiple pages?
