As per the current design, we have observed that any user is able to upload custom fonts in Lucid and collaborator are able to use that font. But we are facing issues due to this and we need to block users from uploading the custom fonts. This should be only allowed by Admins. People should be able to user fonts only allowed/uploaded by Admins.

I’m working on a document and it keeping showing as offline iven if im online.

Um, I’ve used this software quite a bit the past 4 years. I haven’t touched it much in the past several months. What happened? What is this new silly auto suggestion where when I want to simply connect one shape to another by selecting the little dots that pop up on the sides of a shape, NOW it’s automatically suggesting a shape in a new random wrong direction. So now rather than being super speedy with connecting shapes after the fact, I am now having to manually press CTRL every single time. What is this featured called and how do I turn it off?I’ve turned off snapping options. And if you turn off line connections….well then you can’t snap at all the way you USED to.Whyyyyy change things that worked and not make it easy to revert back? Might as well go back to PowerPoint or Slides.Photo example attached.

Hi I have a rectangle with 2 vertical lines connected below it. When I place text over the rectangle the text gets connected to the lines. Is it possible to disable auto-connect?

FYI Lucid folks: Somehow over the past few days it seems that all rectangle objects from all palettes seem to be rounded rectangles. I do prefer rounded rects for many purposes but I also have a need for straight ahead simple pointy-corner rectangles. Just letting you know my my pointy little heart.

Just thinking of using LucidSpark as a collaborative image mood-board but wanted to ask whether uploading hundreds of good quality images to a single infinite board would be OK? Would it be slow to load and move around? Would it be a massive memory eater? Thanks.

If the user has a Free license, then can that user “Share” the Diagrams to other user in the company who has Free or Enterprise license ?

This will be a deal-breaker if not solvableWe used to drop a picture in, and be able to connect lines from ANYWHERE across the outside of the image to other items. Now it seems we can only do TOP/BOTTOM/LEFT/RIGHT not “anywhere”. eg a rectangle picture with 12 lines coming off the bottom (for a schematic showing 12 separate port outputs)Please advise!!!!!

If you are using the free version of Lucidchart can you collaborate with other users in real-time on a document? My students created accounts this week and I wanted them to work in pairs on a mind map but when they share it only one student has editing access. The other has comment only access even though both students have permission to edit in the sharing settings. (I requested an educational upgrade but I would like to know if it is possible for us to use Lucidchart for real-time collaboration before that takes effect.)

It seems my colleagues in mainland China sign up for free when I invite them to see a document. They see the form to sign up with their email address, they input the information as required (no warning about something incorrect/missing), but the button to sign doesn’t work.Or is there something they are doing wrong? Thanks.

The file menu is not visible/available on the documents I’m working on - I can not export.

Hello!I’m trying to find the list of all domains/fqdn’s required for correct Lucid operation. We’re sitting behind the proxy and some of the users are experiencing issues with “offline mode”. Can someone share the list? Thanks!

In a shape data field that I’m using for text values, when I enter “0B1” as part of a sequence I’m constructing, the field converts it to “1”. This may be a unique scenario and I’m not going to spend time testing other hex values, but is anyone else aware of this? I’m also using an Edge browser and I don’t know if it might be doing this thinking it is “fixing” my input.

Hello I have created an internal org chart in Lucidchart using an internal google sheet for various fields.  Some of these fields are sensitive and I want to remove them from the org chart/underlying data set before sharing with the wider organization (some fields contain info on Compensation etc.)  How can I remove either specific fields or the underlying data set in general and be left with just the org chart?

You can import previous work from FigJam into Lucidspark using copy and paste. Refer to our Import files into Lucidspark for information on all the file import options that are available in Lucidspark. Read on in this post for details on what content is supported/unsupported with copy and paste, as well as details on how to import an image of unsupported content from FigJam into Lucidspark. Copy and paste capabilitiesWith the functional copy and paste import (instructions found in this article), you can migrate:Sticky notes Shapes Mind maps (imported as shapes) Sections (imported as frames) Tables Text Lines Stamps (not including profile picture stamps)With copy and paste import, you cannot migrate:Drawings (created using the marker, highlighter, or washi tape tools) Images Stickers Widgets Figma content  Import unsupported content as an imageFor any of the unsupported content listed above that isn’t available for functional migration, you do still have the option to import an image in

I would like the ability to lock the size and/or position of something but not the text. For example, you are running an activity where participants are filling in details on “index cards” but you want to ensure all cards remain the same size/aspect ratio.

If you are looking to manually diagram using Salesforce shapes in Lucidchart, Lucid offers Salesforce architecture templates and a Salesforce architecture diagrams shape library to help jumpstart the process for you. Read on to learn how to access and use these resources. You can use one or both of these options for a Lucidchart diagram.Salesforce architecture templatesSave time by getting a jumpstart on your diagram and get inspiration by leveraging a template in Lucid. To learn more about the basics of starting with a template, check out this help center article. To locate and open a Salesforce architecture template, follow these steps:Log in to Lucid. Hi Guys,How do I print only the selected layers I have turned on at the time?Every time I goto print, it turns all the layers on!

Hi there. I apologise if this is a stupid question but how do I create multiple pages in one document? I have a SOP chart that needs doing and it will involve multiple pages. Thank you!

It would be great to be able to add a graphic (emoji, icon, image) in line in the text of a node in a mind map.  This makes the mind map more readable, for example by using an icons for the few main nodes.  I realize you can add any graphics to a mind map, but they are not part of the node, and do not move dynamically with them (and cannot be grouped).  I was able to hack it, but it is a little painful. Here is an example of what it could look like:

I used the export function to upload a Lucid diagram into Word as a PNG with transparent background. When I make changes to the chart in Lucid, it doesn’t automatically update the diagram in Word. Is that meant to happen? Or do I have to export the diagram back into the Word document every time I make changes in Lucid?

Hi Lucid Community,I have a large Dynamic Table with Cards representing activities.  Each card has a Status attribute.I opened Lucid today and discovered that many of my Cards with the Status “Done” now appear in the Column “To Do”.I have tried to move the Cards in question back to the “Done” column, however they will not stick in that column and move straight back to “To Do”, please see screenshot below:Before this issue arose, I created a Team using the new Team Spaces feature.  However, I did not add the Document containing the Active Table to the Team.Is this a known issue?  Is there any fix / workaround I can use?Best wishes,James

Collaboration doesn’t have to be weighed down by manual repetitive or time-consuming tasks. Luckily there are ways to use automation in both Lucidchart and Lucidspark to free up time for more connection deeper thinking and collective problem-solving. 1: Synthesize ideas after a brainstorming session To ensure the best ideas are brought to life you can automatically categorize and sort ideas in Lucidspark using Magic Sort. Magic Sort automatically identifies common themes across ideas in seconds making it a great way to quickly spot trends among large brainstorms.  Plus you can enhance the machine learning used to sort ideas by further refining the categories so that each time you brainstorm ideas they’ll be sorted more accurately than they were before.  2. Build diagrams to communicate complex information  Automation can be a huge time-saver when it comes to building out data-driven diagrams in Lucidchart. By automatically importing data directly from where it lives—whe

I have a paid version of Lucidchart and want to share a template with a free account.  Can the free account use this template and what is the limit?

This is reproducible, every time, and every time it completely crashes chrome.
