Hello -

Can someone please help…

The screen for all my charts started appearing with a solid black background.

To answer your questions,

  • Yes, I can still select new shapes and see the rest of the UI
  • Yes, I tried opening my document in incognito mode and produced the same results (solid black background)
  • No, I am not on a VPN connection
  • Yes, I tried the typical IT steps: machine restart, browser restart, application logout + login

What I noticed was if I toggle off “Infinite Canvas” (Right Click > Document Settings > toggle off Infinite Canvas), then I get the expected grid/transparent background, however, with the “Infinite Canvas” toggled on, I get the solid black background…

Hi @didier.jeancharles 

It’s possible that toggling the rendering option for webGL may resolve this issue for you. If you go to the top menu, in the View section, then down at the bottom of the list for rendering toggle the option for webGL it might resolve the issue. Let me know if that fixes the problem for you.

Thank you for posting in the community! It looks like this is occurring because you don’t have your background color set to white. Can you change the background color to white? See the gif attached below to see how to do this!
