After exporting as an image, the originally complete arrowhead is now only partially visible.

I suspect that while your team was fixing the issue regarding "PDF export not displaying shadow," it may have caused the current problem where arrowheads are not fully displayed in exported images. When arrows are connected to other flowchart boxes, part of the arrowhead gets cut off and doesn't display completely.

Update: I found that only exporting in SVG format displays the arrowhead completely. For all other formats, including PDF, JPEG, and PNG, the arrowhead is not fully displayed after export. I didn’t encounter this issue in my previous usage.

I am having this same issue. Here’s a partial view of a figure before export:

And here’s after:

What happened to my pointy arrows?!

Hi @manu and @Tom T, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Would you mind trying the export in a Chrome Incognito browsing session to see if this issue persists? This often improves performance by clearing your cache and cookies and disabling your extensions.

If the issue persists, please let me know!

Export to .SVG worked, but unfortunately, exporting from Chrome Incognito did not work.

Hi Amelia,  thank you for your response. Exporting from Chrome Incognito did not work.

Hi @manu and @Tom T, thanks for your responses here! To confirm, are you both seeing this behavior in all of your documents? Would you mind posting a temporary Support PIN for this document? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing. For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article.

Same issue found by me. I tried Firefox and incognito mode in Chrome, but no difference.  All documents, even those made months ago.

It looks like maybe the “enable line connections” dots from the View menu are interfering with the arrow tips?  Just a guess, but see images.

This is how I see the arrows in the web browser

This is how I see them on export to PDF, JPG, or PNG

Exporting as SVG shows the arrows as normal, but of course I lose my custom images.

This is what it looks like when hovering with line connections enabled in the View menu. See where the arrow tip is cut-off in a similar way visually?

Hi @chaufe, thanks for adding to this thread! Would you mind sharing a temporary Support PIN for this document so I can take a closer look at one of your affected documents?

@chaufe, after doing some testing on my end, I was able to get the endpoints to appear correctly when the line width was set to 1px. I believe you have identified a bug, and I have reported this to our development team. I apologize for any disruption this may cause, and I will update this thread with any new information about a fix. Please follow along on this thread for updates, and post any additional questions or concerns below.

Thanks @Amelia W.  Aesthetically, I’d need the line width to be adjustable or at least be at 5px as the design requires a certain readability for my use.

I’ll keep an eye here for any update to this thread as to a fix.

Hi @chaufe, I completely understand, I apologize that I do not have an additional workaround to share at the moment. It does sound like exporting your document as an image file allowed for thicker line widths, but I understand that PDF file can be much more useful. I will update this thread with any new information about a fix.

Hi @Amelia W, just to be clear, the issue was visible for all formats except for SVG.  I had the missing arrow tips when using thicker lines exporting PDF, JPG, and PNG.

Hi @chaufe, thank you for clarifying that, I apologize for the confusion on my part. I will pass this information onto our development team.

@manu, @Tom T, @chaufe  Good news! I have heard back from our development team, and it sounds like the issue you experienced should now be resolved. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Please let me know if you continue to experience issues or have further questions.

Thanks @Amelia W, I can confirm the issue seems to have been fixed on PNG and JPG exports.

@chaufe, thank you for confirming!
