Hi, I’m not posting this as an idea as I have no faith in the ‘vote by committee’ hole where good ideas tend to disappear into. I no longer make feature suggestions as I believe it’s a waste of my time.My quibble for this post: why is Lucidspark’s flow design so poor? For example, double-click creates a sticky note. But if you double-click, then paste, it doesn't paste into the sticky note. It pastes a new text box. To paste into the sticky note, I need to double click, then double-click on the sticky note again. Another example - there is no keyboard shortcut, such as Ctrl+enter, to force a proper break in content into a new box. It takes painfully long to paste lots of individual content into LucidSpark and radically reduces my usage of the platform as I spend more time adding content than sorting it. Another, why is it that sometimes if I have a text box selected and paste, it replaces the text box, and at other times, it creates a new text box? And lastly, why does a shift-ctrl-V (f

Is there a way to hover over a shape and see that it has a link when no layer is selected or do I need to be on that layer to see the links? When toggling layers - even when that layer is in view - one cannot see the links - how do I access the links?

Good morning, my name is Lesly Ferrales.I've been doing a board of arteries in my body for a little over a year and today I lost total access and I don't know why.It would be of utmost importance to me if you help me regain access, I've already tried to log in with multiple accounts and I'm still not allowed. I would like to regain access to "arteries of the body" in this same account. Please, I put a lot of effort into it

I have just started a new drawing and now all the text boxes are filled green and white bold text - WHY???? I did not consciously change any default settings - and so Lucidchart must have inferred them?  What the ***** is happening to allow this. I am ****** with this too clever for its own good system!!!

Hi, I was given a CSV file with a Cloud Architecture diagram exported from LucidChart (based on the “AWS Architecture 2019” template), and I wanted to import it into a new document - but can’t find how… Please help! regards,Lynyrd.

I don’t know if I’m the only user experiencing this, but zooming with the scroll wheel only zooms out, no matter which direction I scroll.

I am trying to create accessible PDF’s of flowcharts. We made accessible versions of these charts some years ago, and the Read Out Loud function in Adobe picked up the first few sections but not all of them and they were not in the right reading order. After making some adjustments and correcting the reading order, I exported the new flowcharts as Accessible PDF’s but now the Read Out Loud function does not recognize any information on the page at all, and instead reads “Warning: Page Empty”. After testing with screenreaders on a Mac, these did read the page fine. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and knows how to solve it?

Hi, our team is brainstorming via mind mapping in Lucid Spark. We are using tags to group “sub-topics.” However, it seems that the Gather and Sort feature can only be used for sticky notes. I also tried the filter feature through Containers to only find that tag data is not included. Where is the data from tags grouped?

Hi,am I able to sync the Lucid chart document status (Draft, Pending, Complete etc.) with a SharePoint column? At the moment the Lucid chart doc has a doc status and my document management area in SharePoint also has a status; can SharePoint pull the status of Lucid documents through? Many thanksCate

Due to Atlassian deprecating Jira Server on February 15, 2024, Lucid no longer offers or supports the Jira Server integrations that were previously available. We recommend using Jira Cloud or Jira Data Center, as outlined in this Integrate with Jira help center article.

20 minutes later it is still importing. There are 2 year old topics on this note but they link to documentation that does no longer exist. So, is there an error if so how can I debug it? If it takes so much time and this is to be expected, then why does the marketing material say otherwise? The issue is that the wheels in the screenshot below are spinning and spinning but nothing happens: This is not a good first impression. To get there I just follwed the improt guide and choose the ‘create new role automatically’ option

This is my eighth year using Lucidchart just subscribed for another year. During those 8 years I have used my 1 Gig of alloted space. I am a personal user so buying an Enterprise account seems out of the question.  The Teams and Personal accounts both only offer 1GB of storage. So I renewed my personal account for another year but I can't actually use my account cuz I have no storage. My question is -- how do I increase my storage? Thank you Daniel

Hi, just started using the software and have some how made a formatting error that I cant seem to undo.As I type a space is added before every letter. any ideas on how to undo this? So, text appears likes this “a b c d e” instead of “abcde”. It only seems to be doing this on the Lucid App.ThanksMatthew

How can we just affect selected shapes when applying auto layout?  I even tried layers, and that doesnt isolate the shapes.  Seams odd that this auto layout doesnt respected selected shapes, if there are some

I have a large swimlane.. about 11 different lanes and a lot going on between lanes and in sequence.  It is well beyond a normal print operation to print it and make it legible.  I am willing to invest in taking it to a large format printer, but everything I’ve tried doesn’t expand it enough to make the text in the process steps legible.Anyone have success printing a large complex process map in a way that it can be easily read by humans? thank you, jl

Hello, our users complains about impossibility to insert LucidChart diagrams into Confluence articles, which was confirmed Please see the screencast (it is picture instead of Lucid chart object) Our Confluence server version is 8.5.6

Multiple documents I’ve created in a team folder aren’t accessible to the team.Additionally, I’ve tried creating a shareable link to “Lucid users at <org>” but that also doesn’t work. The only way to grant access is to individually invite users in the same org to that document.Any ideas?

At Lucid, we value creativity and collaboration. We completely understand that sometimes removing the pressure of collaborators being associated with their contributions, individuals may feel more liberated to think outside the box and explore unconventional ideas. Anonymity removes preconceived judgments based on identities, allowing individuals to contribute ideas solely based on their merit rather than who they are. Here's how to do this in Lucidspark:Open your Lucidspark board. Navigate to the "Collaboration" menu located in the top-right corner. In this menu, find and toggle off "Collaborator Colors" and "Cursors".Each user will need to do this in order to make the board completely anonymous.By turning off collaborator colors and cursors, you'll create an environment where all contributions remain anonymous. This can be particularly useful for unbiased brainstorming sessions or when exploring sensitive topics. Visual Activities is another area in which anonymous collaboration can

This is driving me crazy. Surely there is a way to solve this issue. Lucid Chart is virtually unusable and at the least highly irritating. Here is a video recording of the problem. Would love an answer to this problem.   https://www.loom.com/share/461e278a01bf44afafc33bf4373b36a3 Thanx In Advance Mark Bailey

Why are my numeric data labels in Lucid Org chart showing as negative numbers when they are positive in data source? Any why oh why can I not make the legend key (eg the colour circle) bigger at the same time as the font? If you make the font bigger the key disappears to miniscule….

I wanted to ask how people are sharing a selection of your drawings with external sources?  As the Area Selection feature has been turned off, I have no way of grabbing a portion of my drawing and sharing with end-users or dropping this images in documentation.  I can easily take screenshots, but the Area Selection Publisher made a cleaner image.  Does anyone have a work around to share their drawings in smaller bites?

Hello!I am looking for a simple function which makes it possible for me to mark the connected boxes of a chart. I have a very complex chart and want to visualize which boxes have a connection to each other. The visulization should be triggerd by clicking on any box. There are also boxes with multiple connection.I guess this should be a basic feature for lucidchart so I hope there is allready the functionality to do so.Thanks for helping me out!Xeno

What integrations are in place to support an importing of org structure? If we utilize a tool called Rippling, is there a pathway to integrating organizational data with Lucid directly into the system or would the data be best brought in via separate data file?

I have searched Lucid and Google.I am looking for a way to import a folder structure containing Visio documents into Lucid ChartIs there a way to do this type of bulk import?

The option to add employee fields and edit existing ones is no longer available. I’ve used this option many times in the past but it isn’t showing up any longer.
