Product questions

I selected the fall calendar template but it is set to 2019.  How do I get this to refresh to 2022?

I'm using the swimlane/product roadmap template. I added a new swimlane but it does not automatically show the grid and I haven't been able to figure out why that is or how to correct for it. I'm pretty new to Lucid so just leaning it

I have a large complex diagram with many objects connected to many others. I'd like to see the number of lines an object has connected to it (regardless of arrows/direction) and/or ideally I'd like to style the objects differently based on how many connections they have (e.g. an object with 20 connections would have bold red font size 12 while an object with only 3 lines connected to it would use the default font). I looked through conditional formatting but wasn't able to quickly see a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In the right-hand side page panel there is a Data panel / section with a button called New Data Field. When I click I can create properties and add them as text to shapes. Where can I learn more about this feature? I tried both search feature (searching for Data Field) and Feature Find but there appears to be no more information about this at all. There is help on a Data Link feature which I think is different. Thank you.

When i go to edit the content it's editable just not visible when viewing     any ideas on how to fix this? thanks

Hi....  Why does it always crash when I try to duplicate Layer? It happens all the time. https://www.loom.com/share/65250860dac54608a1bc948485d55637

In the short video tutorial there's this tab that is not showing on my board. Can anyone have a tip? Thanks

How do I delete a custom shape from my library? Someone asked about editing them in another post - if I can't edit and I have to recreate a shape to change it then how do I delete the old one?

I maintain one org chart that I duplicate monthly on a new tab for each month (JAN FEB MAR etc). I have been doing this since Jan 2022 but when I try to "Duplicate" the AUG chart the duplicate chart appears in different format and missing details... Help!

Hi I'm looking to modify my diagram (included below) so that I can add a title on top and a timeline below but currently the diagram takes up the majority of the page. It does not appear that I can resize all swim lanes at once but as well when I try to resize individual ones it does not resize the objects in it.  If there is no way to resize everything to create more white space on the page is there another way I can increase the space so as to add larger objects above and below? Thanks Keenan

These days more and more people are adopting a remote or hybrid working environment so how do you keep large teams engaged during virtual meetings? Use Lucidspark breakout boards! Split apart a large group into smaller more manageable groups to encourage participation or assign each board its own topic to allow groups to work on different tasks. We’ll focus on the latter in this example. To set the scene imagine you’re trying to welcome new hires to your city by preparing a comprehensive guide of places to check out. You want your team members to come up with their favorite activities to share with the newcomers. In this brainstorming session you have a breakout board reserved for must-try restaurants and bars one dedicated to museums and attractions and another for schools and kid friendly activities.  Pair your breakout boards with video conferencing for an organized and creative meeting. Here’s how: Pull up your Lucidspark board with the prepared breakout boards. You can check

Hi I don't know if people have experienced the same issues as mine. This is what I'm seeing for all the charts that I drafted and those shared with me on my work laptop regardless of which browser I use.  But the iPad app displays all charts fine. So I'm wondering if something on my laptop is not working. Thank you! Steve

I'm working on some process interaction diagrams and strategy house for strategic planning. Are there available templates that will work for these projects?

I normally log into LC using my Google account. I recently installed the PowerPoint LC plugin and it asks me to log in to LC. I enter my Google ID and click the Google login icon and get the following message: How can I fix this?

We have a number of licensed users.   If I remove a user administratively is their content still available to other users in the same license (abiding by groups or other access constraints.) I assume yes but before I remove one of the more prolific users I'd like to make sure. thanks.

HelloI have connected to my DB (relatively huge) to generate the ERD of it using PostgreSQL.Now what is in my hand is a ".pgerd" file. I prefer your ERD over PGAdmin's but it is a pain to create all those entities again. Is there a way to import from ".pgerd" file to Lucidchart?

Hi the red dots that help with lines aren't showing up and I've looked everywhere. I looked in the help center but the only article I found was confusing. I'm new to this so any help would be much appreciated.

There are 2 yellow containers beneath this white container.   I want to outline this white container with black color and 'send to back' so that  I can see that black outline containing those 2 yellow containers which are currently hidden beneath this white box.

Hi  I'm currently building a site map as a flow diagram and would like to add certain details for each page (title type personas features fields). I would like to be able to show/hide these fields easily without having to edit each container. I like the Org Chart because it allows me to create custom fields show their labels and toggle their display status easily by checking /unchecking. The problem is that certain pre-defined fields are non-deletable and the fields panel is titled "Employee fields" which can be confusing for stakeholders since my chart isn't employee related. Is there any other way to build a flow diagram in Lucidchart which has this checking/unchecking of individual fields enabled?

After installing the plugin login was performed normally. But the chart list does not finish loading and nothing is displayed. Is there any problem with MS Word pluging now? In addition I checked that it works normally in PowerPoint.

I have exported from Miro as Vector – PDF and trying to import into Lucidspark.  About 1/3 of the images do not get imported and it seems which images do not import changes with each import attempt.  I know this is a beta feature however it is a much needed feature.

Hi Lucid team After restarting my PC one of the document which was saved got deleted. Please suggest how do i retrieve it.

Hi  Is there a way from Lucidcharts to take a flowchart and convert it to a written out process?  MindManager has a similar function and was hoping to find the same here.

Hi I need to reset my password but when I click "Forgot Passord" it sends an email to an old email address that I can't access anyomre.  What do I do? Thanks Brad
