Admin questions

When synching a dynamic table with WIQL via Azure DevOps, it appears to leave out items that are not in the initial 50 items pulled in the query. If I open the ADO WIQL import page, search for items, page over to the items after the first 50, and then click synch, it will pull in those items. If I go back out and run the synch from the dynamic table options, it will remove the items outside of the first 50.

In the Lucid admin panel, under the Security > Sharing > Editor experience tab, admins can edit image or icon search permissions. Admins can enable or disable Brave image search, Giphy image search, and Noun Project icon search. To do so, select or deselect the check box next to each option and then Save changes. Please note that these changes will apply to all users on your account within Lucidchart and Lucidspark.  The screenshots below show what it looks like when Brave image search, Giphy image search, and Noun Project icon search are enabled in the admin panel.  Conversely, the screenshots below show what it looks like when Brave image search, Giphy image search, and Noun Project icon search are disabled in the admin panel.

So all my ways of adding images are now greyed out and I can’t click them. I have two paid accounts, one personal and one for work and both are not allowing me to upload images. What do I need to do to get this feature back?

Hello, I am attempting to create new diagrams for a customer whose accounts we manage. They are in their own Org, and I am adding the Lucid role to the accounts as instructed. I am able to get credentials to take and it seems to read all of the resources fine, but when I attempt to create a new document with the role it gives me one of two things:An error saying something went wrong and couldn’t complete (no further details) It creates a document but the document is emptyI have deleted the accounts and roles, recreated the roles and performed the import of the accounts, but no dice when creating a diagram. Thanks for any support!

I am trying to connect to the Lucid MCP and I get the following message. This integration has been disabled by your Lucidchart administrator. How to get that enable in my account? How can I reach out to my Lucidchart administrator?

My supervisor has a licensed Lucidspark account and created a board that I am accessing and editing with my unlicensed, free account. If his license is removed and he goes down to a free account, am I able to still access and edit the board?

Is there a way to hide a specific active org admin from the “Sent to” recipient suggestions/pop-up without disabling their account or removing admin privileges? We want them to keep access but not appear in the auto-suggest “Sent to” list. Attached is what the user gets when requesting an edit license for LucidChart.

We have the request process configured as admin-controlled access and redirect user to service desk URL. Is it possible that a user clicks the “request license” button, then does not complete the service desk form, but that user still appears in the Pending Requests section of the User admin panel?

For the past few weeks, when trying to move around the board with the 2 finger trackpad navigation, the page is jumping around, stochastically misinterpreting my movements as zooms. Before, only pinching motion was zooming, 2 finger swiping was exclusively for moving around.

My company has created a list of favorite symbols. Now I am wondering how I can xport them as PNG or SVG files

Hi AllCould anyone tell me where duplicated documents are stored? I have tried to duplicate an old document in Lucidchart, so I can amend it without changing the original and the pop up at the bottom of the screen says that it has been copied, but I cannot find the duplicated document 🤯Many thanks in advance!Helen

Hello!I have created a team in Lucid. I have added team members to the team and have assigned one of them the manager role.Unfortunately this manager is not able to manage the team members. He only has the button “View team members”.What could be the problem? Thanks for your help!

The firm has changed the email extension for my team.  Since that change went into effect my team ates are unable to access any documents we have created in Lucid or has been shared with us in Lucid.  We each have documents that we need to access for current work we have in flight.

Tried setting up ADO integration with Lucid Cards. Followed the guide to assign permissions to the whole team. I can see the work items for one project, but not all of them. Can anyone help advise whether this is an issue with a known fix? In case it matters, what rights do I need on the Azure DevOps projects (I’m an admin on the project I can see, and I have contributor level rights on the project I can’t see)?

How can I resize or set specific size for the attribute column(s) of a card used in Salesforce templates? When the text does not contain any space, the column will be resized accordingly which is desired (2nd column in screenshot below). However, when the text includes space, it return breaks making more than a line (first column in screenshot below).

[I added this to an existing thread initially, but I think that just makes it look like a reply ...]I have a similar problem and am hoping it’s not too late. I had a previous individual Lucid account for our organisation under a comms@[domain] email for several years with lots of work on it. Some months ago my org changed to a team account with multiple users, and I was added under my own work address (same domain).I’d not accessed Lucid for a couple of months and when I tried today, went in initially on my old account where I could temporarily see my old docs, but knowing I was now supposed to be on a new account I then logged into that but no sign of the old docs, and when I tried going back to the old account, it just switches me straight back to the new one.Is there any chance of retrieving all this work? - it’s a LOT.And is the admin you mention someone within our org - if so, I doubt they’d be able to help - can someone please explain the necessary steps if it is possible?Or mayb

I’ve got a request from an end user to integrate LucidChart with SNOW.  I tried following the steps in the following article: Integrate Lucidchart with ServiceNow – LucidThere isn’t an “install” button?  There is a “Manage Connections” drop down, which when selected, says “Connect for Me” or “Connect for my Team”.  Is that the same thing as install?

I have a LucidChart Team. In that team, I have setup some people as Managers (in the Manage Team Members dialog on the Team home page). Within that team site, a couple of folders down, there is a diagram that those Managers can open, but cannot edit. I verified that there is no one on the diagram’s Sharing Options list (other than the team) and no one on the parent and grandparent folder’s Sharing Options list (other than the team). Why can my Team Managers not edit Team docs?

It would be ideal if there was a way to program the JIRA integration to choose if Lucid writes back or not any changes you’re making in things like roadmap. We are wanting our roadmap to be a visual read-only of our JIRA projects. When we move a card, we don’t want it to actually write back changes to the dates in JIRA. There are many reasons to move a card and having to move it to an exact position is difficult. There are sometimes accidental moves as well.

Hi, I am trying to add myself to a couple teams I created recently so I can help them out initially with organizing and viewing things in their team, but when i try to add a team member my own account does not show up when i do a search. I’m the account owner, and i’ve added myself to teams in the past so i have membership into some already. I can add others to the team just fine. Is there a limit to how many teams you can be a member of, or a security setting I might have missed or set by accident?

Trying to connect Jira to Lucid and the directions are generic.  I installed the lucid app in Jira.  There is a configure, go there.  There is a new button “Connect to Team”.  I do that and get a generic error that has no search results.  The error is from a lucid.com website, so it is not coming from Jira. Sorry! Our servers experienced an error. We apologize for the inconvenience. Flow ID: 8473455161684ba6Time: 2025-11-10T19:37:57.570Z Any insight here?

I custom made an org chart with photos last week.  Today I am trying to add more photos and I’m not able to.  Is there a photo shape I should be using?

Hello,My company acquired another company with it’s own Lucid instance.  How do I migrate all of the accounts and data over from their lucid instance to another?  Please advise. Thanks,Gabe C.
