Not seeing all ADO projects in Lucid Cards add on

Tried setting up ADO integration with Lucid Cards. Followed the guide to assign permissions to the whole team. I can see the work items for one project, but not all of them. Can anyone help advise whether this is an issue with a known fix? In case it matters, what rights do I need on the Azure DevOps projects (I’m an admin on the project I can see, and I have contributor level rights on the project I can’t see)?

Hi @TomC,

Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community!

Could you please review this help center article on integrating Lucid Cards with AzureDevOps Cloud, and clarify the following? This will help me take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing.

  • Could you confirm which specific step (steps listed in this article) you are running into trouble?
  • Are you acting as a Lucid admin looking to configure accessibility for your team, or are you a user trying to locate and open your existing projects?
  • Are the projects you are unable to access in a separate instance?

These details are very helpful for our team as we take a closer look. Thank you!

Hi @alison cheney ,

Thank you for responding to my post.

I followed the guide you linked to previously, using the “For Enterprise admins: Connect the app for all users” steps. For reference:

  1. Navigate to the Lucid Marketplace listing.
  2. Click Connect in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. A new tab will open.
  4. If prompted, log into Lucid.
  5. Click Connect in the top-right corner of the new page.
  6. Select Connect for my team.

No errors are shown at this stage.

We then complete the “Link the app to your Azure DevOps account” step. So far I’m aware we’ve tested with two different users (myself and one of my colleagues). We are no longer prompted for authorisation, but there is an issue accessing the work items (which I’ll get to in a moment).

To clarify, I am an Account admin in our Lucid subscription:

I can also see we have the Enterprise plan, which was another of the prerequisites:

After “Connecting for my team”, I created a Lucid Spark board and tried out the Azure DevOps integration features by trying to import existing work items. When I try this, I can only select the work items for a single Azure DevOps project, not all of them. For the working project I am an owner/administrator, and for the non-working project I have Contributor level of access. Almost all of our Azure DevOps work items are in the non-working project, so this is a blocker. To answer the questions you raised directly:

  1. Failing on step “Choose which work items to import.” on the “Import work items into Lucidspark” section of the linked guide.
  2. I am a Lucid admin looking to configure access for my company colleagues.
  3. The Azure DevOps projects we’ve tested are in the same Azure DevOps organisation/instance.

I received some advice to check the “Third-party application access via OAuth” setting in Azure DevOps, and I can confirm this has been set:

Is there anything else I can share to help with this investigation?
