Hello I watched the seminar in the link below and at the 9:45 mark she shows a trick about how to insert a shape automatically into a line and the nodes will turn on. I tried to figure out how to do this for a while trying many settings and I am just curious if this is actually possible or it is not? Also can this trick be done with shapes already on the board? WebinarPlease help I think this would really help my team.

My organization is going to be upgrading to Enterprise to be able to integrate with G-Suite SSO. Right now we have 10 or so users using their own credentials local to LucidCharts. When we have SSO setup what will the users experience when they sign in next? Is there a mechanism for preventing every user with a G-Suite account from grabbing a license in LucidCharts.   Thanks Patrick

I'm having an issue with my org chart in Lucid Chart that I can't find any direction on:  I would like break my org chart into teams however i have a number of individuals who report to managers that are not on that team.  Where in the org chart is this represented. For example: - Employee A is a manager on team 1. - Employee BCD E are on team 1 and report to Employee A. easy peasy. - Employee F is on team 2. - Employee A reports to Employee F. Oops this doesn't work and isn't represented anywhere.  Ideas?

Hello! Not sure what section of forum to post this in but StarUML and others offer the ability to convert a sequence diagram into a communication diagram. I can't seem to find this functionality anywhere in Lucidchart; is it not available?

Hi I'm trying to reproduce the "Orion pages". I have already learned how to use links and hotspots and I'm almost done with my diagrams. My question is about the visualization part. I can't get my document into presentation mode if not in full screen. :( I want to have my diagrams on the right side of the screen using half of my screen and use the other half to open other windows such as another browser window or a terminal.  Does anybody know how to do that? All the best -- Rodrigo

I read how to change the default font which was very helpful but not what I was trying to do really.  I know I am just doing it wrong but i am stuck trying to switch styles for text from saved choices. So like if I start a new box and it is the one where the font color is the same as the background and I want it to be blue and 12pt Wingding font or whatever I can change things things to be blue and 12pt and then set that as default but is there not a way to also have one for 18pt red webdings or what have you? Like styles in outlook though I cringe to compare this to Outlook. ok sorry to bug any help is very appreciated   PS I think this software is really awesome. chris

I cannot seem to find any posts about what size photos should be uploaded to ensure I'm capturing the "headshot" best. Even if I enlarge the shape of the employee card it doesn't change the amount of photo being shown.  I will be requesting that our 200+ employees submit a photo for their card and want to be able to give them the accurate photo pixels and resolution dimensions that will ensure I have the best from each individual.

Hi - My users are clamoring for the ability to create and edit LucidChart diagrams in our nascent SharePoint Wiki. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks! Tom

I'm getting my head around the use of formulas (particularly in the service of conditional formatting) but can't find the answer to a basic question: How do I reference another specific shape? Here's the scenario: I have a group composed of one circle and one text box. I want the circle to take on a color based on the value contained within the text box. I understand I need a formula for the conditional formatting of the circle and I know the value I'm going to test is the text of the text box but I'm not sure how to reference that text box within the same group. Can you provide an example?

Hi I'm missing all documents created since I changed to a paid licence. Please recover urgently. Thanks

Is there a kitchen floor plan complete with cabinets

Hi! I created a document with quite a lot of hotspots with page links and when doing so I gave the hotspots a transparent background with a cursor hand icon in the corner so as to make it apparent to a user of the document which objects are clickable. However when I download the document as a PDF (which is the format the client will use) the hotspots are not visible. How do I choose for hotspots to be visible? I included a couple of pictures of how it looks in lucidchart (on top) and as a PDF (on bottom). Thanks in advance! Best regards Nina

Hi I am facing an annoying assistance feature that I need to have disabled: each time I draw a line between two shapes by using "Drag line from shape" the target shape gets filled with what seems to me to be a random color. Is there any chance I could disable that feature? Thank you.
