Sometimes the text labels on lines are a bit crowded and hard to read at smaller sizes. Is it possible to add padding around those labels to give it some breathing room?

Not a great example but this is what I’m talking about:

Hi Brandon

Thanks for posting in the community!

Lucidchart does have a padding option in the properties bar - please see the Work with Text article for more information.

If you are adding a text label by double-clicking on a line however the padding feature does not apply. If you would like to use the padding feature with a text label you will have to create the label by dragging out a shape from the toolbox and placing it on the line.

Please let me know if you have any further questions!
