OK I'm a complete Lucid Chart Newbie and getting a bit irritated when trying to move an object e.g. text box and instead it draws out arrows I don't want or starts making a next box... what is the trick to just selecting and grabbing and moving and object within triggering any of the drawing tools. I tried shift click and that works sometimes but not others... if I click on the text on the white space in between words and drag the object moves sometimes and not others... I'm missing something basic.

For the confluence integration how do you enable the auto-update?

Hi Community  I have 25 tabs that make up the whole org of my company.  about 50-100 people/box per tab. I need to add a field to every person shown in the org. I went to use the Manage Fields Universally   But I have to click on each of the 25 tabs and click that field. Is there a way to add the field to all people's box without having to go to each tab and manually change each? Thanks

Hi  There is no "Close account" button. A little sketchy guys. Please close my account.

I have been digging around looking for how to change the default font & color for Yes/No on lines from Decision but just cannot find how.  The default is white and Liberation Sans 7pt.  The white is a particular problem given the white background but also like a larger font.  How can I change this particular defaulting?  Thanks in advance.

Hello We're migration from Confluence OnPrem to Cloud.  Now in Confluence Cloud all our LucidCharts do not display anymore.  I see that the charts are all attachments (Json) of the pages. How can these be added to LucidChart.com to then be re-added to Confluence pages? Thanks.

Buenas.

Hello I am currently working on making multiple organizational charts but wanting to standardize the format. I began with one of LucidChart's templates and formatted/placed titles the way I wanted. I went to import new data however it completely starts a new chart/sizing. Is there an easy way to avoid this from happening that will allow me to keep the sizing/formatting/fonts the same and only change the organizational data? Thank you!

Hello when importing a lot of forms into an ERD - they all appear in the left hand side panel individually. Is there the option to move them all into the page automatically? Right now each one has to be moved individually by Drag-and-Drop into the page.   Thanks!

Hi I have a basic account. When I link my quip charts other users of my Quip organization don't see the chart. How can I share my charts linked in Quip with my collegues? BV

Hello   Is there a feature to map foreign key automatically when specifying the relationship between 2 entities? Visio has this feature...   Regards Xuanyi

Problem: I have created wiring diagrams and added integrated data to objects in the diagram.   When i share the document (either with an individual or via a link) they can see the diagram but not the data and the data option is completely removed for them. The only way I can make it work is by giving edit permissions however I don't want to give this permission to everyone. I can confirm the people i'm sharing with have full access to the original data sets and are of the same team with same permissions within Lucid.   How do i share a document as read-only that includes integrated data?   Thanks in advance Luke

I have various shapes in my lucidchart flowchart denoting various steps. When I click on a box say for step 3 I want the document to scroll down to that position in the description below the flow chart.  How can I set this up? (In draw-IO I can do this with Confluence using something called Page Anchors that are laid down in the Confluence doc to mark where to go.) Thanks!
