I have my data in google sheets and it apppears to have synced with Lucid however the data hasn't changed in the chart. I've refreshed and replaced the dataset and still it's not updated. Can someone help?

Hi - after importing my data the org chart puts the direct reports  in a horizontal positioning across the page. How do I get the positioning to be vertical instead. So Ed Sue and Jane report to Rick. Rick should be on top and the other three should be underneath him vertically. I can't figure it out.

Hello I created two documents yesterday and now I'm unable to see them although colleagues with whom I have shared access can. It says I'm the owner of the document but it doesn't appear when I login and I get the access request screen when trying to get to them via link. I've already tried private/incognito mode with no success. Help!

Are we able to easily add a hyperlink to a lucid charts board ideally within a note that we can easily click on it and it brings to a webpage.

I encounter the Error "Could not retrieve document. Error: Index 0 out of bounds for length 0" whenever I try to embed some of my larger diagrams into a confluence page. Any thoughts on how to resolve this error?

How can I edit the 'Fill Color' of the Tabs embedded in the "Vertical Tab Panel" shape from the "UI Containers" shape library?    The 'Fill Color' button is greyed out for the individual tabs - and the shape does not appear to be locked or grouped. I've already discovered the 'Contextual Panel' - 'Advanced Options' feature to toggle the # of tabs and which tab is selected (example above is 3 tabs with Tab 2 selected)... I'd like to use the "Fill Color" feature to customize tab by tab color changes beyond grey and white. Thanks for your help!

When you have a new account a popup asks you your industry. It is very flawed as is very easy to click the wrong option. Lucid now thinks I am an Architect! *there is no way to go back again*

Hi There I have an individual plan right now (I'm using a work email address) and we want to upgrade to a Team plan. Will all content created on my individual plan be available on our team plan if I'm using the same email address? Or will my content disappear once I moved to a team plan? Thanks Marina

Hi I have a BPMN diagram I’d like to use for conversations with both my business and my IT audience. To accomplish this I’d have a diagram where in one case I’d like to show business labels in other occasion technical labels. To accomplish this I have created an Excel file with two columns; business label & technical label. Then I create page level custom data field. In the diagram I have formula’s on the tasks with an IF testing the page-data field to control what column text is displayed. To complete my use I’d like to create a link toggle button … something to set the data field. Is this possible? Any other suggestion to accomplish what I want? BestMaarten

I have to create a very large Org chart for my company. (500+) I have used SmartDraw and Visio software previously for my company's Org charts.  The problem is not everyone has the same software in my company and I need to share the chart as a PDF file. Does Lucid have this capability without cutting half of the chart off? SmartDraw and Visio do not. The max employees I was able to PDF was around 200.

Being new to Lucidchart it wasn't apparent on saving a chart with a different name.  I didn't see a 'Save As' option.

Hi    I attempted to add a milestone chart on Google Doc and was not aware that Lucidchart went ahead and created a brand new account for me. I do not need this account and want to delete it. Everytime I try to delete the account an error pops up. Please advise.    Thank you   Nhu

I understand that I can change the default font for my document by creating a text box typing in it changing the font manually and then right-clicking the text box and selecting "Set Default Style."If I do this would this only change my default text style or would it also change the default text style for other users at my company?

Hello I am fairly fluent with LucidChart and Teams but not so much cooperatively.  I have created many LucidCharts and want to store them in a Team Files folder.  My company has a license and I do understand that to anyone else the charts are view-only.  I know how to add a single chart as a channel tab but I just want to have my charts in a folder for project team access.  I feel like it should be a drag and drop but I can't make it work. What am I missing? Thanks Jason

Is it possible to Copy and Paste text from Note Box to another?

Hey there I've been looking for your user object in your API docs but I have fallen short so far in finding the right material. Does Lucidchart have a user object in the API? II'm seeking the following user-centric properties. Users in this context could mean two things: 1) employees of the company who are issued an account via their work email 2) third parties to the company (temps contractors collaborators etc) who join the company account as either paid accounts or free accounts. Here are the properties I'm after in particular: 1. User name (given name + family name)2. User email address3. User's Lucidchart ID4. USer's license type (free license paid license etc)3. In-app role (Member Admin Billing Owner etc)5. Last Login

How can I arrange the layout to fit on 11x17 (landscape) and not have the print so small it can not be read.  Is it possible to drag the reporting staff under in a tier level down rather than across?

I have a need to present same flow chart from different perspectives: a) Description + label of current status. For example: Description: "Create X" with label GREEN (meaning done) b) Step number c) Type (different colour depending on if its related to different features in the system) For this need I decided to use layers. I then take shape by shape and use feature "Copy to Layer". This gives me an exact copy that I then can change colour and text to present from whatever perspective I need. Here comes the question: Whenever I then change size or position of a shape I need to do the same activity for all layers. Rather frustrating. Is thee any way I can link the shapes in the different layers so that if I change size and/or position of a shape that it get automatically changed in all layers?

Since the split of Lucidchart and lucid.app where do my students create a student account so they can access the Lucidpress suite?
