I created a graphic slide-sized and added it to my presentation when i step through and it get to that slide the slide is milky? hazed out? I tried arrange>bring to front and it's still like that. I think I'm missing a step for properly converting the graphic to a slide maybe?

I use Obsidian for notes and occasionally want to drop an iframe into a note that links to a Lucid drawing selection. I can copy “link to selection” for objects, but occasionally I cannot have a public link. It would force me to login which presents challenges when rendering the selection in the obsidian iframe. Does anyone know why a public link is only available sometimes in the share link options?

When trying to upload images into an Org Chart, nothing seems to happen. I select the shape, select upload image and select the image. LucidChart spins for a second and then nothing happens. This used to work as I have an image on the chart but for some reason its not accepting images anymore. I have looked at other posts and have tried the troubleshooting steps below:Cleared out my cache Tried a different browser Made sure the images were .jpg  Made sure the image sizes were small (all under 300kb) Used incognito mode Signed out and back into LucidChartNothing seems to be working when trying to upload the images.

Please, if possible add in your backlog the more levels in smart container! This feature is revolution about business group.

We’re making it even easier for your AI to handle the exporting and extracting content from your Lucid documents. We’ve just added two new tools to the Lucid MCP suite that bridge the gap between your diagrams and your final deliverables. Export Pages as PNGs: No more manual screenshots. You can now ask the AI to snap a high-res image of any page in your document. Example: “Export my ‘Project Timeline’ document in Lucid as a PNG file.”  Fetch Image Assets: Need that specific screenshot or logo hidden inside a diagram? The AI can now grab the source file for you. Example: “Find and fetch images from my Lucid Project Brainstorm document.” We built these features to bring Lucid’s visual intelligence directly into your AI tools. Previously, your AI could talk about your work, but it couldn't show it. Now, by making these features accessible via MCP, your AI can fetch, export, and present your visual data instantly. These updates are live and ready to help you move faster. Give them a spin

Hi,I’m having an issue with the “Notes” attached to “Shapes” in Lucidspark. The background of these notes appears dark grey, which makes the text very hard to read. This significantly impacts usability to the point where the feature is almost unusable for my workflow. It would be extremely helpful if:the background color of notes could be customized, or a higher contrast / lighter display option was available.Right now, this limitation makes it difficult to use notes effectively in collaborative or structured work.Is there already a solution for this I’m unaware of?Thanks in advance!

While Lucid AI has already been helping you automate your visuals, we’ve now given it a massive boost. Lucid AI can now build complex, multi-step rules, translating your natural language prompts into sophisticated logic instantly. Here’s a look at the advanced logic you can now build just by asking:Connect Multiple Conditions: Instead of just one trigger, you can chain them using AND/OR logic. Try: "Highlight shapes if the Status is 'In Progress' and the Priority is 'High'." Let Lucid AI Do the Math: You can now perform calculations based on the data nested within your shapes. Try: “Change the shape color if 'Value A' is greater than 75% of 'Value B'." Total Customization: Because the AI now handles the heavy lifting of the underlying logic, it can create or edit any rule that you previously had to build manually in the editor. Try: "Update my current formatting rule to add a second condition and change the shape border to dashed." Conditional formatting-- sped up demo You can access

Hi Micah, I am still experiencing issues when using lucid AI.

Currently I’m convincing our product team to use lucid chart so that we can discuss our project development on LucidChart. First they felt the tool was comfortable when using the table feature so that they can fill in the tables and link lines by row with ER diagram table shape(sad thing is regular table shape does not support table row linking to another table row with latching). Unfortunately, what our product team member realized is that whenever they want to add more columns than three for the table, the shape does not support that functionality which makes everything useless. I told them to try out regular table shape but they say when they manually link the row with the line and add extra row at the bottom, the linked line position above the target row moves relatively to the height of the table which they have to manually adjust all connected line position. Please make development team to make a feature to fix the latched line position to absolute position.

Hi Community,In Lucidchart, it is possible to edit data directly via the right‑hand context menu under Data, which then writes the changes back to the connected Excel file. For me, this works fine (I am the owner of both the Excel file and the Lucidchart document). However, when we tested this with a colleague, it did not work for her. As soon as she tried to edit data, all shapes showed the following error message:“We couldn’t sync your data. Click to try again.” Clicking the message does not resolve the issue, and the data does not sync to Excel at all. The error message appears on each individual shape and only disappears after all connected data is removed and re-linked again. Are there permission, ownership, or sharing restrictions that prevent collaborators from updating Excel data via Lucidchart? Or is this a known limitation? Thanks a lot for any insights!

Looking for a way to auto-number the steps in your flowchart? Check out this post on how you can utilize conditional formatting and formulas to accomplish this!  Please use the steps below to accomplish this on your diagram.1. Add shape data "Start" to a start node with the value 0. This allows shapes connected to it to know it's part of the flow chart (as opposed to the note).2. Add data "Distance" to all of the shapes with the formula =count(upstreamdeep) + upstreamdeep.Start. This will be defined with the distance from start or error (if the shape is not in the flow chart).3. Add page data "Numbering" with the formula=groupby(map(sort(filter(children, x => and(not(iserror(x.Distance)), itemtype(x) = 'Block')), 'asc', x => x.Distance + 0), x => object('id', label(x), 'index', x.index)), x => x.id, x => x.index). This formula sorts all blocks in the flow chart by distance and then groups them into an object where the key is the shape label (ID) and the value is the inde

I CANT GET ANYTHING THROUGH, JUST LOADS AND THEN SAYS THERE WAS AN ERROR AND TO TRY AGAIN. IVE GON INCOGNITEO AND OPENED A NEW BROWSER, COPIED THE DOCUMENT - NOTHING IS WORKING

For example one task is to make a tea, can i then click into the task and write the steps of how they make the tea in there?I have a large number of tasks which have steps to them, and i want to click the task and open it up to see how its done, is this possible? I don’t want to create another flow to explain how the task is done if i can avoid it

Hello. I have a PROCESS shape extended to a long rectangle. I have a bunch of other shapes connected to it. I would like to extend the rectangle to the right without all of the existing connections shifting. Is there a way that I can drag the right border without dragging the arrows with it?   Thank you

When using cards, I often add notes to the cards to store information. The card icon has disappeared on all my cards. When I click on the three dots for a card, it says ‘delete note’ so this leads me to believe the note is still there, I just can’t click on it because the icon is hidden. Under Board Settings > Show / Hide > Show Notes is checked. If I uncheck this, nothing happens and if I refresh the page it reverts to being checked without my doing so. I can add a new card and add a new note to it and the icon will show up only for a few minutes. Then it disappears like the rest of them.

I logged into my account and can’t see previously created charts. Where are they?

I used to be able to hold the command key on my mac and zoom in and out with my mouse scroll wheel or track pad. This still works in chrome, but if I leave the tab idle and return to it, the functionality is broken. Refreshing the page, it works again. I can use navigation mode in the meantime but wanted to flag since this behavior (command + scroll) is standard for zooming in other apps.

There seems to be a bug when copying and pasting nested objects (or at least nested frames & containers). On board 1, all frames are contained, so if I drag the outer frame everything inside moves with it.When copying and pasting onto another board, the nesting is lost for many of the frames. They appear behind the container and are no longer inside it.Screenshot: (In the bottom one, all the light gray objects are hidden behind the frames that they were supposed to be inside of.)

Hi community, maybe someone here can help me.I currently have an Excel file connected to a Lucidchart diagram. Both the Excel file and the Lucidchart document are used collaboratively by multiple teams. The problem is:The data only synchronizes when I personally open both the Excel file and the Lucidchart board. If I don’t do this, changes made by other team members are not reflected. This means I have to open the Excel and the Lucidchart document every day just to trigger the sync.Is there any way to have the data synchronize automatically in the background, or without having to manually open both files? Thanks a lot in advance!Best regardsMelanie

HI,when use AI to Generate flowchart i always got this message“I couldn’t generate the System Administrator diagram because of a temporary issue on my side. Please try again, and I can regenerate it from the same process details.”

Hello, I’m trying to update the tier leves in my org chart. It says “Inherited from Org Chart”, but when I try to update the teir, it is greyed out. I want to add more teirs and update team member’s tears. We have instances where different tiers/levels report into the same staff. Thank you.

I want to create two completely separate mindmaps in the same canvas for two separate processes. Then I want to connect/join one mindmap with another? how can I do that in lucidspark or is that even possible?
