The option to change an existing shape on the canvas is only available for basic shapes and flowchart shapes, hence why at times you can see both Lucid AI and the Change Shape icon, as such:
Taking this BPMN shape as an example, it cannot be changed on the canvas since it is not a basic shape nor a flowchart shape:

Lucid AI, however, is indeed a feature that can be disabled only by an Admin on the account via the Admin panel, as pointed out in the linked Community post shared by

Thank you for getting back so quickly - and sorry for me not being equally fast 😉
As far as I see, it requires some admin rights or something, and I’m not sure my colleagues wants the same as I do. I just experience, that the feature to reshape my figures is pretty random. Sometimes it displays. Others both that and the AI feature is diplayed together. And then again it sometimes doesn’t show up at all.
And I really don’t fancy inconsistency 😄
I want it consistently available when right-clicking 😎
