Document does not export as pdf

When exporting to any file type I get the message that “Due to the size of this document, it may take soe time to generate your file.”. I have turned off infinite panel, it’s only one panel of 8.5 x 11. There is only one layer, one tab and its just shapes and texts. After leaving this open for an hour it does nothing. Same with printing.

Comment Markings Won't Go Away

Hi All,  I recently copied my entire Lucid workbook and now have very strange comment markings that appear on every single page and I can’t delete them or even touch them. They’re more annoying than anything. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? These are the exact same on every page

Google Sheet Returning Info to Lucid

I understand there’s bi-way integration w/ Lucid and Googlesheet, but I thought that was mainly from essentially an embedded standpoint.Instead, what I’d like is the info from certain cells (say, a calc’d / sum cell) show up in Lucid.See screenshot - in an ideal scenario I’d like to do a variety of flyout/show-hide containers where clicking on a button exposes the g-sheet...but this may be further iterations.At it’s most basic though I’d like info from G-sheet to be presented back in Lucid elements, not just exposing the G-sheet itself.Thoughts?

error when inserting text from the shape properities for an import share from cisco visio stencil. formula looks correct  none of the shape properties work, other shapes that are not from the imported visio stencil work.

Floating Key for my lucid spark board

I have a Lucid board that uses notes to denote the task and the date. The problem I have is as the time goes on the Key gets harder to find for the user since it is before January in the list. I know I can use hotspots to link to the location of the key but then the user would need to navigate back. Is there a way to put the key on a layer that is floating and stays “always in the upper left” when visible no matter where I am on the chart? Or any other free solutions

Swim lanes don't stay in the same spot

I have a chart with swim lanes, and I’ve moved those lanes to a specific location on the page, but every time I reload the page or someone else opens the chart the swim lanes randomly move to a different location.

Hiding all "child" and "grandchild" layers

I have created a Lucid Chart diagram - a decision tree - that starts with one “parent” task (a box). This is the only item on that layer. I then added a second layer that is displayed when you click on the parent box; this second layer shows two “child” tasks. If you then click one of the child tasks, the next layer is triggered to open and you can click one of those “grandchildren” to dig in further. The issue I have is that I want to be able to click the “child” and have all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren close as well. Right now, when I click the child the grandchildren close, but the great-grandchildren and beyond are out there hanging in space not connected to anything. Any ideas? I’m sure this is probably an easy fix, but I’m relatively new to the platform so appreciate any advise. I’ve put a screen shot here to show what happens when I click a child (dark grey box) after opening layers deeper down. That empty space in the middle is a layer that was turned off by click

Questions For New Team Space

I have a few questions regarding my new team enterprise space.   I have about 5 license users that have previous licenses from other teams but we want to make sure they are only getting charged for licenses on our plan.  How can I confirm this? One of my users said she tried to click on the link sent out to her to join the team but the link has expired.  Can she just go to the Lucid site and log in with her email?

UML sequence diagram input box jumps to top on text change

Possible bug. When using the “UML Markup” feature for the “UML Sequence” shape set, if the markup text is longer than the screen height, any time you change the text the scroll position resets to the top. This makes it close to unusable for large diagrams. Expected behavior is that the scroll position does not change except when I scroll.Last time I used this feature (about a month ago) I did not see this behavior.Reproduced on both an old document and a new one, with different markup text. I was able to reproduce in an incognito browser, so I’m confident it’s not a poorly behaved extension.Video of the issue in action:Chrome 126.0.6478.127 on OSX 14.5 on an M1 chip.

Reference data from another page in same Lucidchart document

I have a single Lucidchart document with multiple pages.  In page 2 I’ve created some page data fields.  I would like to reference the page 2 data fields within shape data or page data from page 1.All documents seem to indicate data linking, but there is no option to link to a page in the same doc, only options for external sources of data.How can I reference another page’s data within a formula?

Error Code: CE013 - Embedding Lucid document into Canvas

Our institution uses Canvas LMS. I’m trying to use Canvas’s function of embedding a lucid document into a “page” and when I try to connect to my Lucid account to access said document, I get this error message: Could not verify the integrity of the OAuth request. Please try again or contact Lucid support if this error persists. (Error Code: CE013)

Troubleshooting steps for connecting Lucid Cards to Jira Data Center or Server

Are your users having difficulty connecting to Jira cards, but your account-wide configuration seems good to go?Here are a few things to check when individual users can’t connect Jira cards in their Lucidspark boards:In Account Settings > Apps & Integrations > Lucidspark, is Jira DC set as the default instance? If not, try setting Jira DC as the default instance.  If Jira DC is the default, try creating a new document via the +New button in your Lucid docs list. Are you able to connect to Jira DC in your new document? All documents are automatically configured for the Jira DC/Server/Cloud instance listed as 'default' at the time of document creation. If the previous test works and you need to connect an old document to Jira DC, try duplicating the document (File > Duplicate) and connecting Jira DC in the duplicated document.  If you continue experiencing issues, please share a screenshot of any errors you see in this thread!

Named Version not appearing in History

Hi, I am encountering an issue in LucidSpark I am hoping someone can advise on.One of my boards has a named version from ~2 mths prior to today. This board gets quite a lot of editing (~900 revisions since the named version). When I click the version history slider to show only named versions, the old named version does not show up. However, if i have not clicked the slider (and am looking at all of the available versions) I can click through and manually ‘load more’ to eventually get back to the named version. If, after this, i click the slider, the named version will then be displayed.Obviously this isn’t ideal as it sort of defeats the purpose of having a named version filter in the first place.Hoping someone can help identify what is going on here.Additionally - I did change the name of the board between the named version and now - not sure if this would have an effect or not...Thanks!Josh

UML Persistence with error

I was editing a UML diagram created from a template. The “build” was failing for an unknown reason (“expected ‘end’ or similar” -- but both loops had “end”). When I clicked out of the UML to check a different diagram, ALL of my edits were lost.

How can I import a sticky note with tags?

Via REST API import document it is possible to create a document with sticky notes. But it is not explained in the documentation how it is possible to add tags to the note?{ "id": "shape4", "type": "stickyNote", "boundingBox": { ... }, "style": { ... }, "text": "Text", "actions": [ ... ], "customData": [ ... ], "linkedData": [ ... ], "opacity": 100, "note": "Test Note" } Where I can add tags (tag labels) to the shape? Thanks
