I have populated swim lanes with processes objects already and I want to retrospectively colour code the swim lanes. When I follow instructions to colour this works but hides all the objects. How can I shade the background of the swim lane and keep the objects visible?

Hi Team - I'm new to Lucid Chart and would like to know if there is a way to find user deletion logs in lucid chart. A handful of users were deleted last week from Lucid Chart and I'd like to get the logs about who had made those changes.

Is it possible to have a single lucidscale license and then have a few lucidchart licenses that can interact with lucidscale data and do extra diagramming?

Hello My spell check is not turned on. How do I fix? Thanks Richard

Are there any free models that are used to make plans for example of parks?

In Lucidchart, I understand lines smart lines and layers. What I'm trying to figure out is if there's a way to drag a line from an object on one layer to an object in another layer. The reason this would be useful is for exactly one of the use cases in your help section where a customer drew a very confusing diagram for the prisons system. He was able to use layers and action links to show/hide relevant layers with the lines connected to the relevant objects but it seems to me that the lines were simply drawn to the object and not connected to it. This would mean that once my diagram got to a point where I needed to reposition some of the shapes the lines connected to them wouldn't adjust accordingly. This would be less than ideal.  It doesn't seem too complicated to me to be able to recall in the code which object a line is connected to even if that object is in a different layer?

I am trying to automatically count the number of specific items in a drawing.  A simplified Ex...  I have house plan with 4 speakers and 3 TV's.  The speaker and TV symbols are template items that are dragged into a floor plan.  I would like to have a chart at the top that would show the sum total of these items.  Is there an automatic calculation that would look at all objects in the drawing and if an object has a data attribute that says "Camera" or "TV" then add 1 to the total of camera or TV in the chart.   Is this possible?

I have a box with lines and text inside of it. When I turn the box 3 of the lines turn with it. They are not grouped together and the box is arranged to be at the back. There is no way to separate them.  (unable to upload either png or jpeg files. Getting message "You can only upload images (jpec gif or png). Image uploads are limited to 2MB." The files are less than 100KB each.)

I created an org chart.  For the Photo I have their linkedin picture URL.  When I created it it worked great and the images showed up.  Now a month later none of the images show.  Why is this?  How do I get it to refresh?

Hello GuysI have a problem integrating Lucidchart into Google Slides. The extension was successfully installed and I can see the status Installed in the manage panel. However the extension does not appear in the list so I cannot launch it. Can you please advise me on what I need to do.Thank you

I am trying to use Singer and Meltano—external ELT tools—to create an integration with LucidChart's API. This integration would allow for data to be pulled from a user's LucidChart account to populate a database or other storage medium. However I am running into an issue with the way LucidChart handles refresh tokens. As I understand it when I use the offline_access scope to have the user generate a refresh token I can then use this refresh token to request an access token any time within the next six months. However when I do so I also generate a new refresh token and invalidate the previous one. This makes my use case very difficult as I might potentially have multiple processes running at once attempting to use the LucidChart API. Awkward race conditions occur where one process attempts to use a refresh token that has been invalidated by another process. Is there any way around this difficulty? Is there any way to generate an access token without invalidating the refresh token that

I'm having the same issue. When attaching an arrow to another line it will sometimes force me to attach the arrow to one side of the line rather than the other. How can you switch the side of a line you are connecting another line to?

Our company just migrated from Miro to Lucid and one of my very used features is missing – insert emojis inside a text frame. In Miro I could just simply click [control+command+spacebar] an emoji library appeared and I chose an emoji that was inserted into the text. It works even here in this comment section but not inside Lucid 🤦🏻‍♀️ is there a way how to make it work? Thanks.

Hello I was unable to find this answer from doing a search on the internet.  I am looking to lock a shape to a specific table cell as I need both horizontal and vertical context to align a feature/epic to a particular application workstream in a given month so that when I add more "shapes" to the table I don't have to have to manually shift all the other shapes.  Miro has a template that can do this and I am looking for similar functionality in Lucidchart and wondering if I just can't find it.

Hi - the person from our team who set up Lucid chart account has left employment. How can I change the user account settings? I have attempted via the User Settings but the following warning shows Warning: This user has Single Sign-on linked to their Lucid account. By proceeding they will no longer be able to use Single Sign-on with Google or Microsoft accounts set up to use their old email. If they are linked to Google Drive their account will be unlinked. I don't want to risk loosing the charts that have been made - so I have canceled the change. Could you advise if I click Unlink - will the charts still be available on the updated account details?

Cannot resize a shape. Grabbing blue edge squares only adds a connector

I would like to create a shareable link that opens a new chart from a template.  Sharing the link from a template just opens the template it does not create new from template.  The Work with Templates page does not address this as you have to select "New from Template" option it is not a URL that can be shared. Is there a way to generate a link that creates new from template that I can share?

I am a teacher and I would like to be able to create a Lucid Chart and have the students access it using a link. The document would open in View Only but be able to save a copy that they could then edit. It would be like a template function. Is this possible?
