My spell check is not turned on. How do I fix?

Hi Richard thank for commenting in our community! You can check your spellcheck settings by selecting Edit > Spell Check. If the checkmark is visible your spell check is turned on. If the checkmark is not there it is turned off. A simple click on "Spell Check" should allow you to turn it on or off.
