I just importet a Visio document to LucidChart, and it seems that some weird grey overlay was added This overlay does not appear when the file is opened in Visio.

Is it some setting that i have set up incorrectly, or is it maybe something unique to Visio imports? I have not seen it before.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @btoAO, Thank you for the update! Can you try toggling WebGL off? This can be done by selecting View > Rendering > Use WebGL and un-selecting this option. For help with disabling WebGL, please see this Community post (in English).

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns!

Hi @btoAO

Thank you for your post! Can you verify that the background color in your document settings is set to white? It’s possible your import changed the background color. You can access the document settings by going to File > Settings.

Hi again

Thanks for the feedback! The problem still persists, so let me try to go through your suggestions!

@Humas1985

I went through the troubleshooting steps one by one. It unfortunately didn’t fix it. This is the most important notes:

  • File Size: Upload was successful and every item from Visio was imported fine. The only problem seems to be the grey overlay that is not present in the original Visio file.
  • The problem persists when importing via incognito mode.

@Kelsey Gaag

The background color is set to white, which i imagine is the default selection - since i haven’t changed it myself.

I hope that can narrow the problem in some. Thanks again!

Hi @Kelsey Gaag

That seems to have been the culprit! After i turned it off, the overlay disappeared!

Thank you very much for your help!
