A Lucid look back: Reflecting on 2024

This is perhaps my favorite time of year. We celebrate the joy of the season with loved ones, and look ahead in anticipation of the new year. OKR Dashboards

Has anyone created a dashboard for their OKR reporting?We are exploring the possibility of leveraging OKRs for our formal strategic planning methodology. As part of this, we plan to use another source to track the OKRs and their status. However, we want to leverage Lucidspark to create a nice reporting dashboard for executives and C-Suite Level management. Our thought would be to track them in the other system and use a connection to bring in specific data to a Lucidspark page that we’d create the dashboard on. Looking for ideas of how I could design this page to help make it user friendly.

Today we're announcing team types! Team types give you more control over team visibility and access. With this release you'll now be able to create public, closed and hidden teams. 
Public teams will be fully accessible allowing anyone in your organization to find and join the team directly from the all teams page in your docslist.
Closed teams will appear on the all teams page but joining requires approval from an existing member of the team.
Hidden teams will not be visible on the all teams page, and the only way to join is through an invitation from an existing team member.
This update provides an easier way to organize and get access to documents that are important to you and your teams. Learn more here!Note: Teams are only available for enterprise level accounts

Halloween game

Hey, I'm Ryker, a designer at Lucid, and I wanted to share a game I made in Lucidspark!I made it as a get-to-know-you activity for my team, and it worked great in Lucidspark because we were able to utilize a lot of the in-product features, which let us move from section to section faster. The game is pretty open ended, so we were able to find little connections between teammates which was really fun to see. You can create a copy of this to use with your team with this sharable link.PS I added some notes to better explain the different sections, but when in doubt, make up your own rules.

How I use Lucid for product roadmapping

Hi all! Lucid has recently launched new capabilities to support Agile workflows, making it easier than ever to create product roadmaps. As a product manager at Lucid, here are a few of the ways I use Lucid during product roadmapping:Prioritizing product improvements with Visual Activities: After the team has brainstormed product ideas, I put these into an activity—like an impact versus effort matrix—to get everyone’s take on priorities.  Visualizing capacity versus workload: With Lucid’s new reporting shapes, I can add a progress bar and workload tracker to my board. These shapes pull data directly from a Dynamic Table, so it’s easy to see how any changes in the plan would affect team capacity.  Mapping dependencies: By integrating Lucid with Jira, I can visualize dependencies that already exist in Jira directly on my Lucid canvas in a timeline. If I adjust the dependencies or create new ones in Lucid, they’ll automatically sync back to Jira (saving me loads of time)! Check out all the

Share your Lucidchart AI Prompt Flow models! 🤖

With Lucidchart’s AI Prompt Flow extension you can experiment with LLMs (large language models) and improve AI prompts no matter how technically savvy you are (or are not)! You can use the extension to build models of your AI flow with multiple user inputs using sample interactions to help train responses.  When I was learning how to use AI Prompt Flow it was hard to know where to start or what the possibilities were. The most helpful thing for me was seeing example prompts and outputs. Because of that experience we in the Lucid Community want to encourage you to share all the ways you are using AI Prompt Flow to improve your AI prompts!  To kick us off below are a couple examples I created when experimenting and learning how to use the tool. Most unique way I have used Lucid! - Community challenge Sep 2024

I've revolutionized my workout routine with Lucidchart by creating a comprehensive fitness plan that covers everything from exercise sequences to nutrition planning. First, I designed a workout flowchart that outlines my daily routine, including warm-up and cool-down exercises. I also created diagrams to visualize which muscle groups each exercise targets, ensuring I'm getting a balanced workout. To track my progress, I organized my sets and reps into tables and charts, allowing me to see how far I've come over time. I even planned out my weekly workout schedule, including rest days, and created circuit training layouts with station diagrams and timing intervals. But that's not all - I also set fitness goals and tracked my progress with charts and timelines. Main Room/Closet Project Plan

This Lucidspark board outlines a timeline for a personal room change and closet build project, including ordering furniture and accessories, hiring an electrician, and completing the build. The board details the delivery of chandeliers, knobs, drawer organizers, baskets and other household items. The project concludes with the installation of wallpaper and the completion of the closet build.
