I’m trying to upgrade the Lucidchart plugin in Jira from version 1.11.0 to version 1.11.1. The install fails almost immediately and there is this message in the Jira logs:

2024-12-18 21:19:52,035+0000 UpmAsynchronousTaskManager:thread-1 WARN <username>     [c.a.u.core.install.DefaultPluginInstallationService] Plugin installation failed: Attempted to install an OBR that does not have exactly one main plugin jar

There must have been an issue with version 1.11.1, as 1.11.2 installed just fine.

@jbirdjavi this error message is unique to Confluence, not to Lucid Software. That said, here’s the link for the steps you (or the administrator) can take:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/exceeds-max-allowed-packet-for-mysql-179443425.html

These steps will require logging in as the root user and typing commands. When you’re finished with that, you’ll need to upgrade the uninterruptible power manager (UPM) to the latest available version.

If you got this error message while you were at work, you may need to request help from your company’s IT Help Desk to go through these steps.

@jbirdjavi I’m glad to hear that the issue resolved itself rather easily and that you didn’t have to jump through hoops to troubleshoot.
