We are delighted to announce some exciting updates for this Lately @ Lucid launch!
Visual collaboration is at the core of everything we do here at Lucid. Since 2010, our products have helped teams collaborate on projects from ideation to planning to execution.
We want to extend this value by providing even deeper solutions to customers just like you! For that reason, we’re turning things up a notch and expanding our vision!
Lucid is a work acceleration platform powered by visual collaboration that helps teams get aligned and transform their businesses.
In light of this vision, we’re excited to announce three accelerators for Enterprise accounts designed to optimize your work.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the features offered with each accelerator! Get more details on the Lucid blog.
Agile Accelerator
Available to Enterprise customers for purchase at the beginning of May 2025, the Agile Accelerator helps organizations better scale their Agile practices to improve team performance, as well as increase visibility for teams and leaders.
- Blueprints: Blueprints are collections of templates that streamline a workflow. They’re designed to give your teams a standardized starting point to work, while still maintaining team autonomy.
- Automatically create team hubs: Designed to be a great home base for team documentation and blueprints, team hubs can be created at scale through a CSV import.
- Visual Activities and frames with insights: Adding these elements to blueprints helps teams share critical qualitative data with leaders without the need to create one-off requests. Insights are clearly marked so teams know what information is visible to leaders.
- Insights dashboard: Agile managers have access to comprehensive results in an insights dashboard to increase visibility into team confidence, performance, and concerns. They can filter by date, team, and team category to quickly access the most critical information.
- Data-driven scenario planning: Pause data syncs between Lucid and Jira or ADO to test scenarios without changing the data in your system of record. Add team data to a Dynamic Table to see how changes in scope, staffing, and assignments affect project timelines.
Cloud Accelerator
Available to Enterprise customers for purchase at the beginning of May 2025, the Cloud Accelerator helps organizations understand and plan future changes to their cloud infrastructure.
- Bulk import: Import entire cloud footprints from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and share them with the rest of your team. Import an entire AWS organization, or make your own selection of accounts for import.
- Blueprints: Coming later this year! Just like the Agile Accelerator, blueprints in the Cloud Accelerator are sets of templates with standardized sections designed to give teams a strong foundation for their work, such as cloud migration or cloud risk assessment.
- Asset builder: Coming later this year! The asset builder is a collection of items that show up frequently in your cloud environment. Create these reusable components and add them to any cloud diagram. Any updates made to a component in one location can be applied across all diagrams for increased consistency.
- Manual layout: Customize the layout of your cloud model to visualize in a way that fits your team’s needs. Add unmapped resources for a more complete picture of your infrastructure.
- Easily modify diagrams: Access cloud data directly within Lucidchart. If your cloud environment changes, refreshing the data ensures that your model stays up to date. Brainstorm easily by adding annotations and moving shapes to make more sense of what’s happening in the system.
Process Accelerator
Coming in August 2025, the Process Accelerator provides organizations increased governance and standardization in how processes are stored, documented, and published.
- Repositories: Repositories are designed to be the single source of truth for your company’s process and technical documentation. This structured file system is easily accessible and searchable. Anyone can request changes to documentation, but the proposed changes will go through an approval flow before being incorporated.
- Approval flows: Owners of each repository can create approval flows to help drive compliance and consistency. The repository owners can then name users who approve changes to documentation.
- Asset builder: Just like the Cloud Accelerator, the Process Accelerator also includes an asset builder. Repository owners can easily create and manage reusable components, simplifying the development and standardization of new processes. Updates to assets in one location can be applied automatically across all documentation to facilitate making changes at scale.
Acquisition of airfocus
We’re also excited to announce that Lucid has acquired airfocus! We are thrilled to deliver a solution for roadmapping and product portfolio management by acquiring a company that is well-established within the space.
airfocus is the AI-powered product management and roadmapping platform that keeps teams and stakeholders aligned—no matter how differently they operate.
We believe that the flexibility of the Lucid canvas, coupled with the structure of airfocus, will support product leaders throughout their entire workflow.
Today, you can use the Lucid Cards for airfocus integration to:
- Import airfocus items (such as tasks and epics) into Lucid.
- Send the changes you make in Lucid directly back to airfocus.
- Embed Lucid documents into airfocus.
This is just the beginning! Stay tuned as we build more connection points between the two solutions. Learn more in our blog post!
That’s a wrap on the April ‘25 Lately @ Lucid launch!
