Update for October 2024:
The organizational groups experience for Enterprise accounts is now available for accounts using SCIM!
Tip: If you currently use allotments and/or group admins and wish to continue using those features, you need to wait until our next migration solution is ready. If you don’t use those particular features or if you're okay with losing functionality for allotments and group admins, you can choose to follow the migration steps outlined in the resources below.
The migration instructions can be found in the following resources, depending on which IdP you are using:

On December 18th, 2023, we released a new organizational group experience for Enterprise accounts to be even more functional and useful. With organizational groups, you can better organize the users on your account and assign an Organizational Group Admin to streamline and simplify user and license management.
Many accounts were automatically moved to the new experience. To learn more about organizational groups, check out our Lucid admin panel: Group management article in the Lucid Help Center.
If your account was not automatically migrated, continue reading to learn why, identify best next steps, and opt in to the new experience.
Your account was not automatically migrated if:
Primary groups are being utilized.
Primary groups functionality is being deprecated with the launch of organizational groups. To allow you time to migrate your current primary groups to the new organizational groups experience, we have kept your account on the original experience so you have time to prepare for the change.
If you want to migrate your account to the new organizational group experience without the use of primary groups, you can opt in here.
Group admins are assigned.
Enterprise accounts have multiple use cases for Group Admins which include (but are not limited to) granting licenses and managing sharing. With the new experience, Groups (sharing) allow users to share documents with a particular group rather than adding each individual collaborator. When your account is migrated to the new experience, existing Group Admins will have their roles revoked and you will need to grant them the new Organizational Group Admin role.
If you’re ready to migrate to the new experience now, you can opt in here.
SCIM is enabled.
We’ve implemented the necessary changes so that you can now manually migrate if you’re using your SCIM connection to provision user licenses, groups, or group membership. If you are ready to migrate your account to the new organizational groups experience now, refer to the relevant resource based on your IdP:

Allotments are being utilized.
We have released license limits to give you the same value with organizational groups that you previously got from allotments. To learn more about the switch to license limits, check out this community post. If you are ready to migrate to the new experience, click here to opt in.
What to expect when you opt in.
When you opt in, the Lucid Support team receives your request (with any additional information you include) and will get to work enabling the new experience for your account. For more complex and unique situations, our team will work with you to help you understand the changes needed to your account before enabling the new experience. In straight-forward cases, you can expect a quicker turnaround. In either case, watch for a reply from our team.
If you have questions or need help before you commit, include your questions in your request after clicking the link to opt in or post on this thread.
If you have feedback about the new experience, we’d love to hear it! You can share your feedback with us here.
