Add new data sources Snowflake & Salesforce to Cloud Accelerator

In order to make Lucid Cloud Accelerator usable for Salesforce teams would require data import of Salesforce Data (Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM) as well as Snowflake into Cloud Accelerator.

@quick13 With Cloud Accelerator, you can use bulk import to efficiently move entire cloud data.

To import Salesforce data into Lucid Cloud Accelerator, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new Lucidchart document.
  2. Open the File menu and click Import Data.
  3. Select Sales Account Map and click Import Your Data.
  4. Authenticate with Salesforce if prompted.
  5. Search for and select the account you want to import.
  6. Click Import.

Even though there is no Snowflake plugin, you can still import Snowflake via APIs.

Hi @quick13

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community! To clarify, the Cloud Accelerator announced on April 3rd, does not support imports from Snowflake or Salesforce.

I’ve converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.

Finally, for more information on how Lucid manages feedback via this community, take a look at this post.
