Create action to go back to previous page

Hi all

I'm currently using Lucidchart to make process flows for my company. For this I have use several action buttons linking to more detailed process levels and sub-processes. These are so to say 'hard links' they always refer to the same page.

Is it possible to have a dynamic link which brings the users of my charts back to the previous page they were on? This is therefore not always the same page but depends on the previously clicked action button.

Thanks in advance for your response!

Hi Arnoud

Thanks for reaching out in the Lucidchart Community!

This is such an interesting use case! Unfortunately we don't currently support a dynamic link feature that would allow you to achieve this. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. I’ve also converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.

Finally, for more information on how Lucid manages feedback via this community, take a look at this post:

To complement this @Arnoud d User Case the scenario I am facing is having two different Top-level workflows that call the same sub-process. I have a "Go back to Main Process" button at the top of each sub-process but in this case since the same sub-process is called/linked on two different pages the button wouldn't know to which page to go back to. This could be solve with a feature to navigate to to the previous page or to the page that called it.

Thanks.
