Generic Month Timeline

I need to create a timeline which shows milestones that aren't specific to a certain month--the milestones happen on the same day every month.

Is there a way to do that within the basic timeline template?

Hi Kate

Thanks for posting in the Lucidchart Community! Just to make sure we are on the same page would you like to add many milestones to your timeline to mark recurring monthly events? If so you can do that by adjusting the date of each one of the milestones in the Advanced Shape Menu so you can have the same day and different months. To do so drag as many milestones as you want onto your timeline then click the milestones (one by one) and choose a date / time from the Advanced Shape Menu that will drop down at the top of the editor. The milestones will snap to position when you change their dates in the Advanced Shape Menu.

For more information on how to create timelines in Lucidchart please review our Timelines article from the Lucidchart Help Center and let me know if you have any questions.

Not exactly... I want to build a one month view without specifying the month. So the hashes at the bottom would just have the numbers 1-31 without the month being there because for my purposes the month doesn't matter. Does that make more sense?

Hi Kate

Thanks for clarifying that! Unfortunately what you are trying to do is not currently supported in Lucidchart.

If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. I’ve also converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.
