My org chart layout is correct and as I want it but I find that some connector lines are longer and with bends instead of the straight line connector that others have. I want all connectors to be the same, straight line but I cannot edit the longer ones to format to shorter straight lines.
Below is a screenshot to show the random bent line connectors that I do not want.

Looks like you have tried to change the layout manually.
If you want to do that then you will have more control if you use standard flowchart blocks.
Org Charts like to format themselves. TO change how they are laid out you use the OrgChart Side Bar (See SS). By changing the Layout Style, Horizontal and Vertical spacing you should be able to get close to what you want.
