Change size of line endpoint

Thanks for reaching out on the Lucidchart Community.

Unfortunately there is not currently a way to resize the squares on UML shapes. If this would be a useful feature that you would like to see implemented in Lucidchart please fill out this feature request form. We are always looking to improve the product and filling out this form helps us to send the desired requests on to our development team. As a growing company we take our feature requests very seriously and review them often.

In the meantime a workaround would be to create a line with an arrow endpoint reduce size to 0 and shorten the line to just the smaller endpoint. Then add the line sized how you want connect to endpoint and group the two together. From here you can add this custom shape to a custom shape library so you don't have to recreate it each time it is needed but rather you can drag it in from your custom shape library.

Your link to the “feature request form” takes me to https://community.lucid.co/, which when I enter “endpoint size”, takes me right back here.  There seems to be no way for me to register my desire for this feature except to post it here.  😑

@joshua.richardson Thanks for your post, and apologies for the confusion. In the past, we collected feedback on our products via a separate form, which is what was linked above. Now, in order to make requests more discoverable so others can upvote them and add their own context, we use the Product Feedback space of this community to collect feature requests and ideas.

FWIW, I would like to be able to increase the size of all endpoint connectors, not just “UML” connectors, in case that’s a different set.  Also, FYI, I saw other threads about this.  There is a lot of desire for what many people see as basic functionality.  I would definitely say I was surprised to find this feature missing on an otherwise feature-rich drawing app.

Unfortunately this is turning out to be a dealbreaker for us. 

We have a significant contract with Microsoft and are looking to pare back the spend to the core components.  LucidCharts is largely an excellent application, but given this original request is 6 years old and has not been delivered we have to pull this app from our RFI which is a huge shame, as Visio is starting to show it’s age.  I am personally a huge fan. but our senior sponsor is always complaining about the arrow head size, and is likely to mandate either visio or powerpoint (yuck) for client pitches
