Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed a change in my Lucidpark project page. Previously, there was a Properties Toolbar that remained fixed at the top under the main menu. However, it has now disappeared, and instead, a Universal Settings panel appears on the right side of the document. Additionally, when I click on a shape, its individual properties settings pop up.

For my workflow, the old toolbar style—always visible at the top of the document—was much more convenient. However, I can't seem to find a way to restore the old toolbar view. I’ve also checked the general document settings but couldn’t find an option to switch back.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to bring back the previous toolbar layout? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Powerlabs

I believe it may not be possible to fully restore the old toolbar view, let's wait to hear from the representatives to get that confirmation and also to know whether this can be converted as an idea.

Regards

Good afternoon @Powerlabs,

I cannot confirm if we can revert this change, but I can make sure that the feedback is sent to the right team. I was having a hard time locating what area of Lucidspark you are talking about. Can you share a screenshot of the new toolbar? This will help me identify which team to give your feedback to.

Hello @Powerlabs I am a UX designer here at Lucid. We are testing this new experience with some of our users.

We are actively considering this change, can you tell me more about what you dislike about this new experience?  You said the old way was more “convenient” can you explain more about what you mean about that?
