Set default style to lines instead of arrows in Lucidchart

Thanks for reaching out! In order to create connecting arrows instead of lines, change the Line Format options found at the top of your screen.

GREAT ADVICE--BUT I NEED TO FIND THE LINES FORMAT OPTIONS FIRST. SEEMS LIKE ARROWHEADS AT THE ENDS OF LINES ARE THE DEFAULT OF LUCIDCHARTS. HOWEVER I'M DONE WITH ARROWHEADS CONNECTING DO MY SHAPES AT THIS POINT. CURRENTLY ALL I NEED IS TO CONNECT JUST NORMAL LINE CONNECTIONS SANS ANY ARROWS AT EITHER END. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!  ROGER POAHA. (I'M A NEWBIE TO LUCIDCHART BUT I'M GRADUALLY LEARNING ALL THE IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS THAT I NEED TO CREATE MY OWN DIAGRAMS OF FLOWCHARTS. THIS LUCIDCHART SOFTWARE IS VERY EXCELLENT TO ME. I JUST LOVE THE FACT THAT I NO LONGER HAVE TO MANUALLY DRAW MY FLOWCHARTS USING T-SQUARES TRIANGLES ETC. THIS SOFTWARE IS A VERY GREAT TIMESAVER AND PROVIDES ME WITH PROFESSIONAL RESULTS IN MY FLOWCHARTS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!)

Hi, even after I click on “Set Default Style” the lines still have arrows instead of “none” it only change the default color, thickness and line style.

Actually I’ve notice that this only happens with entities if I use shapes it changes tu lines instead of arrows but it keeps showing arrows when I try to connect entities.

Is there a way that I can set lines intead of arrows for that situation?

Hi ​@Leianne C, here is a gif, as you can see the default one when I do it from a square shape is a line but when I do it from the other one is an arrow.

Hi ​@Archy_delamora, thank you for sharing a GIF of the issue and sorry for the delay! It looks like you are using ERD shapes - unfortunately that is expected behaviour as the default line for an ERD is default shown in your GIF.
