Hi I have a report file from our staff directory that includes a manager's email address for each employee. I've tried using this relationship (supervisor email to staff email) when creating an org chart but it's not working.
It seems like a strange restriction that you would limit the two ID columns to strictly numeric data (employee number)? Surely you could match by an email address?

Thanks for reaching out! Are you speaking specifically to importing spreadsheet data into Lucidchart as an org chart? If so can either connect employees to their managers by ID or by name. To use email as the ID simply select the email column when prompted to choose the preferred ID. Please let me know if you have additional questions!
