I was following the Quick Guide to Collaborative AI in Lucid and using the practice diagram at step Activity | Generate a diagram. It never updates for me (and also have the same frustrations as above) although it says it updated the diagram, even going through the thought process of what it changed. At first I thought I was doing it wrong, which is why I did the training but even in the training it does not work like your video.

Hi @KarenB, thanks for adding to this thread with your experience. Are you using Lucid AI to create a sequence diagram?

No it was a process diagram with decision and process boxes.

Sorry you’re having trouble with that- I’m happy to help see if we can improve the output for you.

In order to best support you, I’ve gone ahead and moved your original comment from this post to a new post in order to continue troubleshooting!

If you haven’t already, I would recommend switching into Lucid AI’s Process Agent, which is specifically designed to help you build process diagrams and refine them. You can enable the Process Agent by clicking the plus sign icon in the bottom-left corner of the text box, then selecting Process Agent. You can learn more about the Process Agent at this community post or this help center article.

Do you happen to know if you were using the Process Agent when your diagram was not updating? Would you mind providing me with a screenshot of your experience or with a brief description of your prompt? That might help me take a closer look!

The prompt was the one from the training material, I was following it. It does not say anything about changing to the AI Process Agent. It says to copy the below into the AI chat window and press enter.

Then the prompter spits out multiple options in the window. The training says to click on one to see the diagram updated. I do that and it says its updating but the diagram never changes.

I will try it again using the Process Agent. Is that only good if you are doing flow diagrams? what about logical data and architecture diagrams?

Hi @KarenB, thank you for those details. My apologies for the delay here. I’ve reached out to our product team to see if they have any insights here regarding whether the Process Agent would be a good solution for logical data or architecture diagrams, and I will report back as soon as possible!

In the meantime, I recommend trying the following items:

  • Sometimes this can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. Could you try this in a private or incognito window to see if that improves things? For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post. Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable).
  • Iterating on the prompt/follow-up edit, or trying the prompt in a new document may help your outcome.

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).
  • A temporary Document Support PIN for this document? This will help me take a closer look at what’s going on. This PIN is safe to post in this thread because it is only accessible by members of the Lucid support staff. You can find steps for generating a Support PIN in this Lucid Help Center article: Generate a Lucid Support PIN.

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!
