Hi Community. What are your thoughts about what is most precise (to be used by professional Business Analysts) and what is easiest to understand (to approve with users) notations now (maybe we need different notations for these 2 criteria)? My options below:
BA notations:
- Business Process Model and Notation [BPMN 2.0]
- Organizational chart Roles [UML ARIS]
- High-level process overview [Value Added Diagram from ARIS]
Architect notations:
- Data Model Object Model [Entity–relationship model Entity Relationship (ER) Diagram "Crow’s Foot/Martin/Information Engineering style" - I like this article very much https://www.lucidchart.com/pages/er-diagrams]
- System landscape [ARIS? without the standard?]
- Integration diagram [UML Sequence diagram]
- Algorithm [Flowchart ANSI/ISO standard]
