Admin pages for Google Apps JIRA SAML and Confluence

This will walk you through the Admin pages for Google Apps JIRA SAML and Confluence but it won't walk you through the portions of each process that you need to do in other products. To learn more visit our "Integrations" knowledge base and find the application you want to use. Thanks!

Here on the App Integration page you will see tiles for each of the integrations we offer and blue headers for the integrations you have already set up.

Google Apps

Enabling Lucidchart for Google Apps allows you to invite people from your Google for Work domain to create and collaborate on content. Click the blue "Install Instructions" button to read the install instructions and interact with your Google Apps Admin Console.

After activating the connection to Google Apps you need to review your settings for provisioning of licenses. To do this click on the "Provisioning" tab of the page and check the settings you want.

You can also require allow or disallow backups of documents to Google Drive with a GApps integration. To set one of these preferences just click the "Google Drive Integration" tab and save your changes.

JIRA

We support both JIRA Cloud and Server and the integration processes are slightly different. To learn how to install visit the "Integrations" page or click the "Instructions" button on the tile you chose. :)

Click "Generate new API key pair" and enter these codes in the Configuration page of your Lucidchart for JIRA Server plugin.

Clicking the tile for JIRA Cloud will take you to Atlassian's Marketplace listing for the plugin your JIRA Admin needs to install. After you've installed you will see a link to the instance and an option to dissolve the connection.

Confluence

If your team uses Confluence you can use the Lucidchart Confluence plugin at no cost. To enable the plugin enter the key and secret on the Confluence Lucidchart plugin administration screen.

Clicking the tile for Confluence Cloud will take you to Atlassian's Marketplace listing for the plugin your Confluence Admin needs to install. After you've installed you will see a link to the instance and an option to dissolve the connection.

SAML

SAML is a tool that allows online software like Lucidchart to be integrated into a company's Identity Management Provider. SAML in an Enterprise feature so you'll need to contact our sales team before activating SAML.

Eligible accounts can "enable SAML integration" then enter the company domain we should protect (ex. sampledomain.com).

Hint: Please do not enter https:// www or any other extraneous text from the web address. This will cause a mismatch between your IDP and SAML.

After you have entered the domain upload or paste your Identity Provider's metadata and download our metadata.

Click on the "Advanced" tab to view additional attribute styles and requirements that you have the option to enable. Please do not enter text into these fields unless you are absolutely sure that you have entered the correct thing.

Entering text into the "ID Attribute Name" field for example will override any other security concerns and require a matching attribute on every user who attempts to log in.
