Every time that I add the string "am" to text boxes it is automatically changing the colour of the object to green. Is there a setting that is driving this as I am unable to control the colours of objects when using words that include “am” such as “team”, “campaign” etc.

Hi @Seanrww

Kindly check for the conditional formatting rule in the background on this as this is an unusual behavior.

Best Regards

Thank you for sharing here @Seanrww,

I believe that @Humas1985 is right. I went ahead and created a conditional formatting rule to try to replicate, and I was successful. While editing in the Lucidchart product, in the left hand panel you should see a magic wand icon for conditional formatting. Click on that, and see what rules are applied.

@Humas1985 @Shantel Gillette thanks for your help, however, this issue is occurring in LucidSpark not LucidChart. I dont believe there is conditional formatting available as an option

Hi @Seanrww

Thanks for the insight, you are right and this would be not because of conditional formatting.

Have you tried from a different browser or from another device to see if the issue persists?

Regards

Hi @Seanrww, thank you for your post! Conditional formatting is not available directly in Lucidspark however it’s possible to access this feature in Lucidchart via Universal Canvas

Could you please try opening the board in question and switch over to Lucidchart by clicking the red Lucidspark icon and selecting ‘Edit in Lucidchart’? This should allow you to confirm if conditional formatting is enabled for this specific document.

If the issue persists, we’d love to take a closer look at your board. Can you please share the temporary Support PIN for this board? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing.

For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article. This Support PIN doesn’t allow anyone but Lucid Support to take a look at your document, so you are safe to post it here.

Let me know if you have any questions, thank you!

Thanks @Leianne C - that’s done the trick!

Thanks for the update, @Seanrww! Glad to hear that helped resolve the issue. Feel free to create a new topic if you have any questions or anything you’d like to discuss - we love hearing from everyone! 🙌
