How to get rid of quick tips

How can I keep quick tips from coming up every time I use Lucid?

I have multiple tabs with a Lucid Chart.

When I switch to the tab I have to refresh the tab 1-2-3 times and wait for quick tips to search and then display a tip that I’ve already see 100’s of times.

Love Lucid Charts but hate this new behavior so much if I can’t get rid of it I’m going start look for a different product.

Hi ​@dkeeney, thank you for posting in the community! Just to confirm, are you referring to this loading screen when opening a Lucid document/board? 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove this screen, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. Yes I am referring to the Loading Screen.

I use Google Chrome.

I normally have lots of browser tabs open, Several, if not many, with Lucid charts.

Every morning, and several times in between, I go to view my charts. 

And up comes “Lucidchart Quick Tip”.

For instance, this morning, “Press M to open the Shape Libray Manager”. 

Refresh screen, as there’s on button to dismiss the screen. Another “Press M to open the Shape Library Manager”.

It’s not consistent, but after refreshing once, twice, or three times, My chart comes up.

And then for other tabs with Lucid charts, I go through the same thing. 

I see so many Quick Tips, I’ve stopped reading ANY of them.

I hope I can get it to be the way it used to. I used to never have this behavior.

I used to switch browser tabs and my Lucid Chart would come up. That was NICE!

Thank you for the additional feedback. As Leianne mentioned, it is not possible to remove these tips in the loading screen. You are seeing them due to a change in the loading screen design. However, we appreciate your feedback and other users can add to and upvote this post. Please refer to this post for information on how we collect and implement feature requests.

its not a tip and its not quick - its just plain annoying
