Jira cards will not update

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

I am unable to manually refresh Jira tickets on my lucid board. The tickets appear with a yellow triangle and the message ‘unable to refresh - may be out of date’

Hi @SGORMAN3, thank you for posting in the community! To confirm, is this happening in a specific board? Would you mind trying this in a new blank board and let us know if the issue persists there?

This will help us better understand the issue. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Hi @SGORMAN3

Seems Jira integration is failing to sync and have you gotten this working fine in the past?

Regards

Yes it usually works and is working with the other Jira cards. The ones that are not updates are ones which I changed the issuetype in Jira. Whether I sync or reimport they do not reflect the new issues

I’m hitting this issue too, I changed a ticket from a research spike into a bug (in the jira interface) and was not seeing subsequent updates to the ticket, in particular links to other tickets.  No mater how many times I deleted the card in Lucid Chart and re-imported it, it still came back with the research spike grey box and only 4 linked items.

Having read the above comment saying it was related to tickets there there issue type has been changed I realised that was common to my case so I just want back into Jira and changed it back to a research spike and hey presto all of the linked items updated.

Whilst this gives me a workable solution, I’d really like to be able to change the issue types on tickets if required.  It seems like there is an underlying bug here that could do with some further analysis.

@GeoffP Thanks for highlighting that this is a common bug as I don’t have time to recreate this bug in a blank board etc as per the Lucid request . I would prefer the Lucid bug checkers to try this out for themselves after it is highlighted

Hi @SGORMAN3 and @GeoffP, thank you for continuing this post and sorry to hear you are still experiencing this behaviour. I have shared this information with our engineers to help them investigate this issue. We will share updates as soon as we hear more from the relevant team.

In the meantime, it looks like cards should update if you make a small change to the card in Lucidspark (eg. adding a space to the title or description). Would you mind giving this workaround a try and let me know if you see any improvements?

If you have any questions, please let us know!

Hi @Leianne C I am trying this workaround but the cards will not complete the update - they are just eternally ‘circling’
