Feature Request – Resizing Shapes Without Shifting Connectors

I’d like to propose a new feature to enhance diagram editing. Currently, when resizing a shape, all connected lines adjust their positions, which often requires tedious manual corrections. I suggest introducing a hotkey modifier (similar to using Shift to preserve aspect ratio) that, when held, resizes a shape while keeping the existing connectors anchored in place.

This functionality would address frequent user frustrations such as:

  • The need to manually readjust connections when extending shapes (e.g., a PROCESS shape transformed into a long rectangle).
  • Unwanted shifts in sequence diagram objects that disrupt the intended layout.
  • Overall inefficiencies that lead to wasted time and reduced chart accuracy.

Implementing this feature would streamline diagram modifications and improve overall user productivity. Thank you for considering this enhancement.
