📣 Updated mind map experience in Lucidchart!

I too am very frustrated not to have the old lucidchart mind map abilities. They seem to be completely gone, it was the sole reason I paid for Lucidchart years ago, and I use it regularly.

Very disappointed and looking for alternatives.

While we’re excited about the improvements in the new mind map experience, we also know it doesn’t cover every use case yet. Your feedback about how you’ve used the older version is very valuable, and I encourage you to add your thoughts in our Product Feedback Section (or upvote similar ideas that have already been shared). This helps our product team better understand demand and prioritize improvements.

For all the reasons stated I severely miss the old mind map experience.

I’m trying to create a mind map now. I have a beautiful one I created for a topic several years ago and need to create a significantly updated one from scratch on the same topic.

The new mind map is immensely constraining and is stifling my creativity. Definitely a change in the wrong direction.
