Loading and swiping through documents in Lucid

Hello, 

A few quieries about the Lucid app. 

Firstly, while lucid on desktop is obviously real-time viewing, when i view a file on the lucid app it takes a moment to load. 

Secondly, in the app i am unable to swipe through images or files. E.g. in dropbox or iphotos on my iphone, i can swipe left or right, whereas in the lucid app i have to exit each file and select a new one.

For the moment these two issues nullify the utitlity of lucid on desktop as we work on both phones and computers and need fast access to files on both. 

I’m aware the lucid app is in its early stages and lucid is designed primarily for large file sharing on desktop, but I am just checking if either of these features are in development or if there’s any work-arounds as we’d like to transfer from dropbox to lucid.

@mon If you log in at lucid.app and add that URL to your home screen, you’ll have the same functionality as the app. That means that the functionality works better on a browser (not a downloadable app from a store), but you can still use it on your phone.

@mon regarding files taking a time to load, could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.

Additionally, could you let us know whether the issue occurs for all files, or only particularly heavy ones? 

When it comes to swiping through Lucid documents, unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. Please first search the Product Feedback section of this community (with the filter Topic Type = Idea) to see if it’s already been submitted. If so, please add any additional details you’d like and upvote the request - this consolidation helps to refine feedback and properly capture the popularity of the request.
