Hi I asked before about drawing the line and got answer. However I can not reply to your comment so need to create new Post.

I want to draw with mouse for example cat... How can I do this. Your version by Holding "L" and draw the line guides me to standard straight or curved lines. What I have to do now - export the document to PNG and then make the "sketch" make a screenshot and send to person. I am asking for option to sketch directly in Lucidchart..

Hi Raimonds

It is not possible to sketch with your mouse in Lucidchart, but you can use our free hand drawing feature in Lucidspark, and it is possible to easily toggle between Lucidspark and Lucidchart tools when editing your document by following the instructions in this help center article

Hope this helps please let me know if you have any questions!

How is it solved? If I don’t have subscription to Lucid Spark, it simply means this feature is not available

Hi @gabbaraideveloper, thank you for continuing this thread! The Freehand drawing feature is available to all account levels including free. You should be able to edit your document in Lucidspark by using our Universal Canvas feature. To do this, simply click on the Lucidchart icon in the top left corner of your document and select ‘Edit in Lucidspark’:

From there, you can find the Freehand drawing tool along the left toolbar:

Would you mind giving this a try and let me know if you experience any trouble with it? Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!

Thank you so much for your reply, appreciate it.

However, Lucid spark needs to be subscribed for in addition to Lucid Chart. Hence, I believe it should be part of Lucid Chart itself. Just for a free hand line drawing capability, a user should not be expected to pay more

Hi @gabbaraideveloper, thank you for following up and sharing that feedback! While the Freehand drawing feature is available in Lucidspark, you should be able to use it regardless of subscription level. I’ve attached a GIF demonstrating this in a Free account:
