Is there a formula for the current date? At times I print floor maps and want the current date to show. I am accustomed to Visio, which is easy to do. Thanks.

Hi @markVLC

Currently, there is no direct formula or field for displaying the current date that updates automatically for printing purposes.

To learn more - Change the Timeline date format in Lucidchart | Community

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards

Thanks for the quick response.

Where do I submit an enhancement request.

Printing is not dead. From a person who started out in printing, I have heard that for 20+ years.

And having the current date is a big plus on a print.

I am not a developer, but it seems it would be a fairly simple add.

Thanks again. 🙂

Good morning @markVLC,

I wanted to see if I could accomplish what you are asking for, and it looks like if you added a shape to the canvas and then added a data field formula  =NOW and added that to the shape, it will show the date and time when you print the file. Would this work for your needs?
