Problem: We use the Lucid Chart Confluence plug-in to expose Lucid Charts in our cloud confluence. This provides enterprise employees a read-only view to the chart displayed within the wiki page. We’d like someone clicking on the Lucid Chart link to be able to have read-only access to the Lucid Chart to view the chart in a larger, more friendly view. Team folders and documents do not allow setting group permissions such as “everyone at my company” or “all engineering” to have view-only access.

Request: The Lucid chart is stored in a Team folder. Team folders or documents in Team folders do not have the richer sharing options that personal files do, such as “everyone at my company” or other groups within Lucid Charts. This would make the Team folders far more useful. As is, I get many email requests to give individuals in my company view access to the Lucid Chart since they want to see it in the larger, better Lucid Chart interface.

It would be nice if the “Team groups” also became groups to allow specifying permissions on.

I suppose one other option is if the Lucid Chart Confluence plug-in allowed setting an option to use a “read-only sharable link” for the diagram embedding, so anyone who can view the confluence page can click on the Lucid Chart’s “Lucid Chart” link and be able to view the chart.
