We know that getting all of your students to participate in a class discussion can be a challenge. Using a Lucidspark board is a great way to give all students a chance to share their thinking in a way they feel comfortable! Try out a few of our class discussion templates and we'd love to hear about your experiences in the comments below.
I used Lucidspark as an opening activity to gather ideas before our debate and persuasive writing activity on which season is the best. I liked how this activity gave students a chance to see what their classmates thought before our discussion. It was also helpful for students to have a record of the discussion to help them as they wrote their essays. This also allowed me to see where the majority of my students stood on the topic. No one likes fall and that is my favorite :)
