Normally, I upload jpegs or png files without an issue, but now my uploads are blocked. Is this a bug, company security, or user error?

Hi Beth,

In order to troubleshoot the issue, can you please provide some more details ? At least the error messages you are receiving, the file types and file size ?

A screenshot will be also helpful.

Thanks

I’m still experiencing the issue, but at this point, I think it’s my browser. I’ve been using Chrome.

@beth thank you for following up and I am sorry to hear that you keep on experiencing issues.

Could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

  • A screenshot of any error messages that appear.
  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!

I’ve tried the upload function on several work tools: lucid, stravito, internal AI tools.

I was using Chrome and tried on/off the VPN as well as incognito. I’m using Edge now and I don’t have an issue with uploading now. Unfortunately, I can’t update Chrome without adminitrator approval. I dropped the issue because I’d been working with them for a week to resolve and they hadn’t done it.

Thank you for providing this additional information @beth, and I am glad to hear that using an alternative browser works for you!

Indeed, regarding Chrome, Lucid support the three latest versions. More information on system requirements for the best Lucid performance can be found here

Please let me know if you continue experiencing issues or if you have any further questions!

We’re happy to help. Cheers!
